AL LL people that on earth do dwell, VITH one consent let all the earth Sing to the Lord with cheerful voice : To God their cheerful voices raise ; Him serve with fear, His praise forth tell, Glad homage pay with awful mirth, Come ye before Him and rejoice. And sing before Him songs of praise. The Lord ye know is God indeed, Convinced that He is God alone, Without our aid He did us make; From whom both we and all proceed ; We are His flock, He doth us feed, We, whom He chooses for His own, And for His sheep He doth us take, The flock that He vouchsafes to feed, O enter then His gates with praise, O enter then His temple-gate, Approach with joy His courts unto; Thence to His courts devoutly press, Praise, laud, and bless His Name always, And still your grateful hymns repeat, For it is seemly so to do, And still His Name with praises bless. For why? the Lord our God is good, For He's the Lord, supremely good, His mercy is for ever sure; His mercy is for ever sure; His truth at all times firmly stood, His truth, which always firmly stood, And shall from age to age endure. To endless ages shall endure. • Tune of the 134th Psalm, in the Genevan Psalter, CII. II.-(1, 2, 3, 4. 8. 12, 13.) N. v.
