4 Revive Thy dying Churches, Lord,

And bid our drooping graces live ;
And more that energy afford,

A Saviour's blood alone can give.

1 TESUS invites His saints
U To meet around His board ;
Here pardoned sinners kneel, and hold

Communion with their Lord.

2 Here we survey that love

Which spoke in every breath ;
Which crowned each action of His life,

And triumphed in His death.

3 Here let our powers unite

His glorious Name to raise;
Peace, love, and joy fill every mind,

And every voice be praise.

PREAD of the world, in mercy broken !
D Wine of the soul, in mercy shed !
By whom the words of life were spoken,

And in whose death our sins are dead !
Look on the heart by sorrow broken,

Look on the tears by sinners shed, And be Thy feast to us the token,

That by Thy grace our souls are fed

1 PREAD of heaven! on Thee we feed,

D For Thy flesh is meat indeed :
Ever may our souls be fed

With this true and living bread !
2 Vine of heaven, Thy blood supplies

This blest cup of sacrifice:
Lord, Thy wounds our healing give :

To Thy Cross we look and live.
3 Mighty Saviour, risen Lord,

Day by day Thy strength afford !
Jesu, may we ever be
Rooted, grafted, built on Thee !

C. M. 1 ACCORDING to Thy gracious word,

A In meek humility,
This will I do, my dying Lord,

I will remember Thee.
2 Thy body, broken for my sake,

My bread from heaven shall be ;
The cup of blessing I will take,

And thus remember Thee.
3 When to the Cross I turn mine eyes,

And rest on Calvary,
O Lamb of God, my Sacrifice !

I must remember Thee.
4 And when these failing lips grow dumb,

And thought and memory flee,
When Thou shalt in Thy kingdom come,

Then, Lord, remember me !

C. M.

in GOD, unseen yet ever near,

U Thy presence may we feel ;
And thus, inspired with holy fear,

Before Thine altar kneel!
2 Here may Thy faithful people know

The blessings of Thy love,
The streams that through the desert flow,

The manna from above !
3 We come, obedient to Thy word,

To feast on heavenly food ;
Our meat, the Body of the Lord,

Our drink, His precious Blood.
4 Thus may we all Thy words obey,

For we, O God, are Thine ;
And go rejoicing on our way,

Renewed with strength divine.

L. M. 1 T OOK down, O Lord, and on our youth

U Bestow Thy gifts of heavenly grace ; And let the seed of sacred truth

Find in each heart a fruitful place.
2 Soon to appear before Thy sight

Their vow and promise to renew,
Prepare them for the solemn rite,

Bid each his heart and life review.

3 The Cross that marked their infant brow,

May it a faithful emblem prove,
That they shall keep that sacred vow,

And walk as children of Thy love ! 4 Now in the strength of power divine,

O may they all, with glad accord,
In holy covenant combine,

And join themselves to Christ the Lord ! 5 Thy sons and daughters may they be,

Confirmed and strengthened by Thy grace,
And safe through life preserved by Thee,
In heaven behold Thee face to face.

P. M. 1 T ORD, shall Thy children come to Thee ?

U A boon of love divine we seek;
Brought to Thine arms in infancy,
Ere heart could feel, or tongue could speak,
Thy children pray for grace, that they

May come themselves to Thee to-day. 2 Lord, shall we come, and come again ?

Oft as we see Thy table spread,
And, tokens of Thy dying pain,
The wine poured out, the broken bread ;
Bless, bless, O Lord, Thy children's prayer,

That they may come and find Thee there. 3 Loud, shall we come ? not thus alone

At holy times, or solemn rite ?
But every hour till life be flown,
Throngh weal or woe, in gloom or light,
Come to Thy throne of grace, that we,
In faith, hope, love, confirmed may be.

4 Lord, shall we come, come yet again ?

Thy children ask one blessing more ;
To come, not now alone, but then,
When life, and death, and time are o'er,
Then, then to come, O Lord, and be
Confirmed in heaven, confirmed by Thee !

L. M. 1 JESUS shall reign where'er the sun

J Doth his successive journeys run ;
His kingdom stretch from shore to shore,

Till moons shall wax and wane no more. 2 To Him shall endless prayer be made,

And princes throng to crown His head ;
His Name, like sweet perfume, shall rise

With every morning sacrifice.
3 People and realms of every tongue

Dwell on His love with sweetest song;
And infant voices shall proclaim

Their early blessings on His Name.
4 Blessings abound where'er He reigns,

The prisoner leaps to loose his chains,
The weary find eternal rest,

And all the sons of want are blest. 5 Let every creature rise and bring

Peculiar honours to our King ;
Angels descend with songs again,
And earth repeat the loud Amen!
