Reader. I. Now are the tongues become visibly a sign to all for the Jews, from whom was CHRIST according to Flesh, diseased through unbelief, have lost God's Grace, and we, from the nations, are counted worthy of the Light Divine, established by the words of the Disciples soundingforth the Glory of GoD, the Benefactor of all: with whom, bending the hearts, together with the knees, in faith let us worship, established by the Holy SPIRIT, Saviour of our souls.

Create in me a clean heart, O GOD; and renew an upright spirit within me.

II. Now the Paraclete SPIRIT upon all flesh is poured: for the Apostles having began to dance [for joy], the Grace on which they float is communicated from them to the faithful, and by it, they are made confident of powerful inspiration, seeing the fiery tongues remain on the Disciples, to the Hymning and Glory of GoD: wherefore, with hearts intellectually illumined in faith, established in the Holy SPIRIT, let us importune that our souls may be saved.

Cast me not away from Thy Presence; and take not Thy Holy SPIRIT from me.

III. Now the Apostles of CHRIST are girded-around with Power from on High, for the Paraclete consecrates them, in them being made new the mystic freshness of knowledge: who, in strange sounds and stately phrases, proclaimed the Eternal and also Single Nature of God, the Tripersonal Majesty of the Benefactor of all: wherefore, enlightened by their teachings, let us worship Father, with Son and SPIRIT, importuning that our souls may be saved.
