INNERS obey the gospel-word,
Hafte to the fupper of your Lord;
Be wife to know your gracious day,
All things are ready, come away:

Ready the loving Saviour ftands,
And fpreads for you his bleeding hands.

III.

Ready the Spirit of his love,

The harden'd, ftony heart to move;
T' apply and witness with the blood,
And wash and feal you fons of God.

IV.

Ready for you the angels wait,
To triumph in your bleft eftate;
Tuning their harps they long to praise
The wonders of redeeming grace.

To happiness in Chrift reflor'd;
His purchas'd benefits embrace,
The plenitude of gofpel-grace.

ARK the foft-falling snow,
And the diffusive rain,

To heav'n, from whence it fell,
It turns not back again;

But waters earth
Through ev'ry pore,
And calls forth all
Its fecret flore.

II.

Array'd in beauteous green
The hills and valleys fhine,
And man and beaft is fed
By providence divine;
The harvest bows

Its golden ears,
The copious feed
Of future years.

I.

NOW, gracious Lord, thine arm reveal,

And make thy glory known;

Now let us all thy prefence feel,
And foften hearts of ftone!

II.

Send down thy Spirit from above
That faints may love thee more;
And finners now may learn to love,
Who never lov'd before.

III.

And when before thee we appear
In our eternal home,

May growing numbers worship here,
And praise thee in our room.

XLV. Before Sermon. P. M.

I.

JESUS, now we humbly pray,
Be gracions to thy church to-day,
Thy faving health impart;

The dew of heav'n on us diftil,
With love each empty veffel fill,
And cheer the drooping heart.

II.

Cut ev'ry cord that binds us here,
Us from our ev'ry hind'rance tear,
Give each a single heart;

Give grace to tread down felf and fin,
Give grace eternal life to win,

E'er we from hence depart.

HIS duty God requires,
That men fhould feek his face,

And offer up their warm defires
Before his throne of grace.

II.

This privilege he grants

His faints below the sky,

That they should tell him all their wants, And Abba, Father, cry.

III.

He lends a gracious ear,
And in the trying hour,

He makes his matchlefs love appear,
And magnifies his pow'r.

IV.

Let needy finners pray,

Nor from his throne depart; His mercy will not long delay To heal the broken heart.

Since Jefus pleads above,
The God of grace will hear,
