Tuelday, Nov. 25, 1745.

Laboured much more to convince one who had known me for feveral years, That she had left her firft love, and was in the utmost danger of lofing the things which she had wrought. But the was proof against argument as well as perfuafion, and very civilly renounced all fellowship with me, "Because (the faid) I was difaffected to the government!" O what will not those either believe or affert, who are refolved to defend a desperate cause !

Sunday go. John Jones (late a zealous Calvinist) preached for the firft time at the Foundery. I fruft he will never reft. till he who died for all hath cleanfed him from all unrighteoufnefs.
