1. ATTEND, O earth, whilft I declare,
A God's uncontrould decree :
Have I begotten thee. <3
Thine shall the heathen be, '
Shall be poffess'd by thee. 3. Appease the Son with due respect, ';
Your timely homage pay, is Left he revenge the cold neglect,
Incens'd by your delay.... . 4. If but in part' his anger. rife,
Who can endure the flame: Then bleft are they whose hope relies : On his most holy name:
