CHAP. V. I He that finneth in concealing his knowledge, 2 in touching an unclean thing, 4 or in making an oath. 6 Histrespaßeoffering, of the flock, 7 of fowls, 11 or of floure. 14 The trefpaffe-offering in lsacriledge 17 and in finnes of ignorance. Nd if a foul sinne, and heare the voice of hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquitie. 2 Or if a foul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beaft, or a carcase of unclean cattel, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him, he also shall be unclean, and guiltie. 3 Or if he touch the uncleannesse of man, whatsoever uncleannesse it be that a man shall be defiled withall, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guiltie. 4 Or if a foul swear, pronouncing with bis lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guiltie in one of these. But if he be not able to bring two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons; then he that finned, shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine floure for a inne-offering: he shall put no oyl upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a finne-offering. 12 Then shall he bring it to the priest, and *Chap.2.2 the priest shall take his handfull of it, * even a memoriall thereof, and burn it on the altar, * Chap, 4, * according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a sinne-offering. 35. 13 And the priest shall make an atonement for him, as touching his finne that he hath finned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven bim: and the remnant shall be the priests, as a meat-offering. 14 And the LORD spake unto Moses, faying, Is If a foul commit a trespasse, and finne through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; thenhe shall bring for his trefpaffe unto the LORD, a ramme without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the fantuarie, for a trefpaffe-offering. 16 And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing; and shall adde the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonenent for him with the ramme of the tref for fins done wittingly. passe-offering, and it shall be forgiven him. 17 And if a foul finne, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist it not, yet is he guiltie, and shall bear his iniquitie. 18 And he shall bring a ramme without blemish out of the flock, with the estimation, for a trefpaffe-offering unto the priest : and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wist it not; and it shall be forgiven him. 19 It is a trespasse-offering: he hath certainly trespassed against the LORD.
