From PSALM CXXXIX. LORD, thou hast me searched and known ; And rising up; yea, all my thoughts My footsteps, and my lying down, From thy Spirit whither shall I go, Ascend I heaven, lo, thou art there; there, if in hell I lie. Take I the morning wings and dwell in utmost parts of sea; Even there, Lord, shall thy hand me lead If I do say that darkness shall Yea, darkness hideth not from thee, How precious also are thy thoughts, And in their sum how passing great OH! hear my prayer, Lord, And unto my desire To bow thine ear accord, Lo, I do stretch my hands Because I trust in thee, (First Portion.) LORD, thou art my God and King; I will thee bless, and gladly sing Unto thy holy name always. Each day I rise I will thee bless, Race shall thy works praise unto race, The Lord our God is gracious, Good unto all men is the Lord; |
