dom, and our Underftanding. But Wickedness is Madness and Folly. They are Fools that make a Mock at Sin, and fay in their Hearts, There is no God. But whofo keepeth the Law is wife. The Way of the Wicked is as Darkness; they know not at what they ftumble: But the Path of the Juft is as the thining Light, that thineth more and more unto the perfect Day. He that walketh uprightly, walketh furely; but he that perverteth his Ways fhall be known. The Righteoufnefs of the Perfect thall direct his Ways; but the Wicked thall fall by his own. Wickedness. Whofoever committeth Sin is the Servant of Sin; but where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty: And whom the Son fhall make free, they fhall be free indeed, c The Fear of the Lord is clean; and God is good to fuch as are of a clean Heart. He that hath clean Hands and a pure Heart fhall afcend into the Hill of the Lord. But how abominable and filthy is Man, that drinketh Iniquity like Water? The Hypocrites in Heart heap up Wrath ; for their Life is among the Unclean. The Workers of Iniquity are corrupt; they are altogether become filthy. f The Wicked have made themselves vile; but they that ferve the Lord are precious in his Sight,, and honourable. The Curfe of the Lord is in the House of the Wicked; but he bleffeth the Habitation of the Juft. God giveth to the Sinner Travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. i The Fear of the Lord prolongeth Days; but the Years of the Wicked fhall be shortened. * Treasures of Wickedness profit nothing; but Righteousness delivereth from Death. 1 The Wicked is fnared by the Tranfgreffion of his Lips; but the Juft fhall come out of Trouble. m The Fear of the Wicked it fhall come upon. him; but the Defire of the Righteous fhall be granted. The Wicked flee when no Man purfueth; but the Righteous are bold as a Lion. • The Hope of the Righteous fhall be Gladness; but the Expectation of the Wicked fhall perish. P He that keepeth the Commandment keepeth his own Soul; but he that despiseth his Ways fhall die. The Wicked is driven away in his Wickednefs; but the Righteous hath hope in his Death. When it goeth well with the Righteous, the City rejoiceth; and when the Wicked perish, there is Shouting. The Memory of the Juft is blessed; but the Name of the Wicked fhall rot. W Indignation and Wrath, Tribulation and Anguifh, thall be upon every Soul of Man that doth Evil: But Glory, Honour, and Peace, to every Man that worketh Good. * They that fleep in the Duft of the Earth fhall awake; fome to everlasting Life, and fome to Shame and everlasting Contempt. ✰ When the Son of Man fhall come in his Glory, and all the holy Angels with him, then fhall be gathered before him all Nations: And he fhall feparate them one from another, as a Shepherd divideth his Sheep from the Goats; and he thall fet the Sheep on his Right-hand, but the Goats on the Left. Then fhall he fay unto them on his Right-hand; Come, ye bleffed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the Foundation of the World. Then fhall he fay alfo unto them on the Left-hand; Depart from me, ye curfed, into everlasting Fire, prepared for the Devil and his Angels. And these fhall go away into everlafting Punishment; but the Righteous into Life eternal.
