34 I have seen, I have seen 16 the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.

35 This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge ? the same did God 'send to be a ruler and a deliverer "by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.

36 *He brought them out, after that he had *showed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the “wilderness 'forty years.

Jer. xix. 13: The houses of Jerusalem, and the houses of the kings of Judah, shall be defiled as the place of Tophet, because of all the houses upon whose roofs they have burned incense unto all the host of heaven.

Exod. xxv. 40: Look that thou make them after their pattern, which was showed thee in the mount. do. xxvi. 30 : And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was showed thee in the mount. Heb. viii. 5: Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern showed to thee in the mount.
