Turn our hearts away from evil brooding over our own wrongs or misfortunes. Change the temper and disposition of those who are ill-disposed towards us, and help us to avoid evil speaking and family discord.

Let not the sun go down upon our wrath-let kindly rest restore the perturbed feelings, and may we rise on the morrow sweet and pure in heart as the light of the morning.

O Lord, we are thankful for life and health; grant that all those who suffer may not be left without hope, -let us comfort them out of our abundance, and do Thou for them and for us exceeding abundantly above all that we can ask or think.

We commit ourselves, our souls

and bodies into Thine hands, as into the hands of a faithful Creator.

Together.

Keep us, we beseech Thee, this night in peace and safety. Help us to acknowledge our sins, to repent sincerely.

May we learn more and more to lend a willing ear to all those good

thoughts and feelings which come from above.

May we never rest in good feelings only, but strive earnestly to carry them out in our lives, so that men may see our good works and glorify our Father which is in heaven. And when we have done all, give us the humility to feel that we are unprofitable servants, having done only what it was our duty to

do.

May we all be cheered and encouraged to persevere in well doing. Draw us and our family and household nearer to Thee.

May we be knit together in Christian love, ready to help, ready to comfort, ready to bear each other's burdens to rejoice with them that
