AIL holy, holy, holy Lord!
Be endless Praise to thee;

In co-eternal three!

Inthron'd in everlasting State,

E'er Time its Round began,
Who join'd in Council to create
The Dignity of Man.

All that the Name of Creature owns,
To thee in Hymns afpire';
May we as Angels on our Thrones
For ever join the Choir!

Hail holy, holy, holy Lord!
Be endless Praise to thee;
Supreme, effential one ador'd,
In co-eternal three!

HYMN LIV.

The fame.

ET God the Father live
For ever on our Tongues,

Sinners from his free Love derive
The Ground of all their Songs.

Ye Saints employ your Breath,
In Honour to the Son n;

Who brought your Souls from Hell and Death,
By off ring up his own.

Give to the Spirit Praise,

Of an immortal Strain;

Whole Light and Pow'r, and Grace conveys Salvation down to Men..

While God the Comforter,
Reveals our pardon'd Sin,

O may the Blood and Water bear
The fame Record within !

To the great one and three, That feal the Grace in Heav'n, The Father, Son, and Spirit, be Eternal Glory giv’n.

HYMN LV.

The fame.

E give immortal Praise,
To God the Father's Love;

For all our Comforts here,

And better Hopes above.

He fent his own

Eternal Son,
To die for Sins

That Man had done.

To God the Son belongs
Immortal Glory too,

Who bought us with his Blood,
From everlasting Woe.

And now he lives,
And now he reigns,
And fees the Fruit
Of all his Pains.

Το

To God the Spirit's Name,
Immortal Worship give;
Whose new creating Pow'r
Makes the dead Sinners live.
His Work compleats
The great Defign,
And fills the Soul
With Joy divine..
Almighty God, to thee
Be endless Honours done;
The undivided three,
And the myfterious one!
Where Reafon fails
With all her Pow'rs,
There Faith prevails
And Love adores.

The fame.

O him that chofe us firft,
Before the World began;
To him that bore the Curfe
To fave rebellious Man:

To him that form'd
Our Hearts anew,
Is endless Praise
And Glory due.

The Father's Love fhall run
Thro' our immortal Songs;
We bring to God, the Son,
Hofannas on our Tongues.
Our Lips addrefs
The Spirit's Name,
With equal Praise

And Zeal the fame.

Let

Let every Saint above,

And Angel rou..d the Throne,
For ever blefs and love

The facred three in one!

Thus Heav'n fhall raise
His Honours high,
When Earth and Time
Grow old and die.

HYMN LVII.

Angels praise the LORD. HE Lord, the Sovereign King, Hath fix'd his Throne on high, O'er all the heav'nly World he rules, And all beneath the Sky.

Ye Angels great in Might,

And fw ft to do his Will,

Blefs ye the Lord, whofe Voice ye hear,
Whofe Pleasure ye fulfil.

Let the bright Hofts who wait
The Orders of their King,

And guard his Churches when they pray,
Join in the Praise they fing.

While all his wond'rous Works

Thro' his vaft Kingdoms fhew

Their Maker's Glory, thou, my Soul,
Shalt fing his Graces too.

And

And figh'd to be reliev'd,

A Serpent ftrait the Prophet made
Of molten Brafs, to View difplay'd,
The Patients look'd and liv'd.

But, oh, what healing to the Heart,
Does Jefu's greater Crofs impart,
To those who seek a Cure?
Ifr'el of old, and we no lefs,
The fame indulgent Grace confefs,
Whilft Life and Breath endure.

To Reason's View, fo ftrange Effect,
Self-righteous Souls will ftill reject,
And perifh in their Pride!

Not fo the ftung with Sin and Law,
These all their rich Salvation draw,
From Jefu's bleeding Side.

May we then view the matchlefs Crofs,
And other Objects count but Lofs,
No other Gain explore!

Here still be fix'd our feafted Eyes,
Teeming with Tears of glad Surprize,
And thankfully adore!

Hail, great Emmanuel, balmy Name!
Thy Praife the Ranfom'd will proclaim,
Thee we Physician call;

We own no other Cure but thine,

Thou the Deliverer Divine,

Our Health, our Life, our all.
