4 Jefus, thy fpeaking blood

From God obtain' the grace,
Who therefore hath beftow'd

On us a longer space :
Thou didst in our behalf appear,
And lo! we fee another year!
5 Then dig about our root,

Break up our fallow ground,
And let our gracious fuit,

To thy great praise abound;
O let us all thy praise declare,
And fruit unto perfection bear.

ING to the great Jehovah's praise;
Allraife to him belongs,
Who kindly lengthens out our days,
Demands our choiceft fongs,
Whole providence has brought us thro
Another various year,

We all with vows and anthems new
Before ou God appear.

2 Father, thy mercies paft we own,
Thy till continu'd care,

To thee prefenting, through thy Son,
Whate'er we have, or are;

Our lips and lives fhall gladly show
The wonders of thy love,
While on in Jefu's feps we go
To fee thy face above.

3 Our refidue of days or hours
Thine, wholly thine fhall be,
And all our confecrated pow'rs
A facrifice to thee.

Till Jefus in the clouds appear
To faints on earth forgiv'n,
And bring the grand Sabbatic Year,
The Jubilee of heav'n.

ALAS! and did my Saviour bleed?

And did my Sov'reign die? Wou'd he devote that facred head For fuch a worm as I?

2 Was it for crimes that I had done
He groan'd upon the tree?
Amazing pity! grace unknown
And love beyond degree!

3 Well might the fun in darkness hide, And faut his glories in ;

When Chrift the mighty Maker dy'd
For man, the creature's fin!

4 Thus might I hide my blushing face, While his dear cross appears; Diffolve my heart in thankfulness, And melt mine eyes to tears.

5 But drops of grief can ne'er repay
The debt of love I owe;
Here, Lord, I give myself away,
'Tis all that I can do.

Charge to keep I have
Ah! lovely appearance of death
Ah! where am I now
ᎪᏂ whither should I go
Alas! and did my Saviour bleed
All glory to God in the sky
All hail, happy day

And am I born to die

And am I erly born to die
And can I yet delay
And let this feeble body fail
An muft this body die
Arife, my ioul, arife
Away, my unbelieving fear
Away with our fears

Be it my only wisdom here
Before Jehovali's awful throne

Behold the Saviour of mankind
Behold the fervant of the Lord
Being of Beings, God of Love
Bleft be the dear uniting love
Blow ye the trumpet, blow
Brother in Chrift, and well belov'd
But above all lay hold

Caft on the fidelity
Children of the heav'nly King
Come, let us join our friends above

Come, and let us fweetly jo n
Come all, whoe'er have fet
Come away to the skies
Come, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost

Come let us join our cheerful fongs
Come let us ufe the grace divine
Come, Lord, from above
Come on, my partners in diftress
Come, Saviour, Jefu, from above
Come, finners, from the gofpel feaft
Come, thou Almighty King
Come, thou font of every bleffing
Come, thou high and lofty Lord
Come, ye finners, poor and needy
Come ye that love the Lord
Commit thou all thy griefs

Drooping foul, shake off thy fears

Encourag'd by the word
Ever fainting with defire

Far above yon glorious ceiling
Father, how wide thy glories fhine
Father, in thy name I pray
Father of Jefus Chrift the juft
Father of lights, from whom proceeds
Father of our dying Lord
Father, Son, and Holy Ghost
For ever here my rest shall be
Form all that dwell below the fkies
Give to the winds thy fears
Glory be to God on high
God moves in a myfterious way
God of all grace and majefty
God of all redeeming grace
