4 New time, new favours, and new joys Do a new song require;

Till we shall praise thee as we would,
Accept our heart's desire.

HYMN 28. L. M.

Family Worship.

1 Thus far the Lord hath led me on,
Thus far his power prolongs my days,
And every evening shall make known
Some fresh memorial of his grace.

2 Much of my time has run to waste, And I perhaps am near my home; But he forgives my follies past,

And gives me strength for days to come.

3 I lay my body down to sleep,

Peace is the pillow for my head;

While well-appointed angels keep

Their watchful stations round my bed.

4 Thus when the night of death shall come, My flesh shall rest beneath the ground, And wait thy voice to rouse my tomb,

With sweet salvation in the sound.

TEYERIHWAHKWATHA 29. S. M.

HYMN 29. S. M.

Sabbath.

1 Welcome, sweet day of rest,

That saw the Lord arise;
Welcome to this reviving breast,
And these rejoicing eyes!

2 The King himself comes near,
And feasts his saints to-day:
Here we may sit and see him here,
And love and sing and pray.

3 One day in such a place,

Where thou, my God, art seen,
Is sweeter than ten thousand days
Of pleasurable sin.

4 My willing soul would stay
In such a frame as this,
And sit and sing herself away
To everlasting bliss.

HYMN 30. L. M.

Sabbath.

1 Far from my thoughts, vain world, begone;

Let my religious hours alone;

Fain would my eyes my Saviour see;

I wait a visit, Lord, from thee.

2 A gwe ri yo nonhi wak tenh se,
Ne ne yah te wa gye ri ton;
O Yesus ka ro ne ka seht,

A ah s'non te a gwa don hets.

3 Sa te wek ne ji skonh son te,
Sa te khwa rahk sa denh ta ron;
Sat kenhs ne to genh ske on weh,
Enh ska no ha re te (wa yen).

4 Ro nen dont Ye sus Ke ris tus,
Ne nen ne ji ro tea nyo te,
Ne na ye ronh ya geh ro non,
Ya go ga te ne ken ten ron.

TEYERIHWAHKWATHA 31.

C. M.

Ya wen da do genh ton.

1 Onht o ni ne a gon he ge,
Se weh ni se rat hah,
Sa ya ner ta ge ni gon ron,
A on gwea ni denh ton.

2 A gwe rya neh a yoh ni ron,
A on ton gweh tah kon;
Ta gi ten ronh I se gon he,
O ne ja ta no ron.

2 My heart grows warm with holy fire, And kindles with a pure desire :

Come, O my Jesus, from above,
And feed my soul with heavenly love.

3 Haste, then, but with a smiling face, And spread the table of thy grace: Bring down a taste of truth divine, And cheer my heart with sacred wine.

4 Blest Jesus, what delicious fare;
How sweet thy entertainments are,
Never did angels taste above,
Redeeming grace and dying love.

HYMN 31. C. M.

Sabbath.

1 May I, throughout this day of thine, Be in thy Spirit, Lord;

Spirit of humble fear, divine,
That trembles at thy word.

2 Spirit of faith, my heart to raise,
And fix on things above;

Spirit of sacrifice and praise,
Of holiness and love.
