Defire that I should be the Perfon entrusted with the management of it and your Request that these things might be communicated to the World; I shall make no other Apology, either for my Preaching, Printing on this occafion.

THE Account of the Conver fion and Early Piety of your Deceafed Son, is what I have carefully taken out of his own Writings; the Subftance of which, you have in the -Papers before fent you; but the Copy I have most had myEye upon, is what be drew up of his own Accord, for the Perufal of the Minifter that Bap- í ¡tized him.

I HAVE for the most part tranfcribed his own Words; and where I bave made choice of other Expreffions, 'tis not because I would fay fome

NOW

NOW, that I may not too long detain you from what you are, doubtlefs, much more defirous to look into; I fhall only add my Hearty Defires,

For You, Sir! that you may yet live to be the Spiritual Father of many Children; that your Labours may be Crowned with still greater Succefs here, and with Eternal Glory hereafter. That many may rife up with your lately Interred Son, at the last Day to bless God for your Miniftry.

AND for You, Madam! I beg more especially a Chriftian Patience and Submiffion ; with those ftrong Supports from above, which may fecure from all the Evils and Harms, that your too great, and Paffionate Concern might bring upon you.
