TH 3. HE day of wrath, that dreadful day! When heaven and earth shall pass away, What power shall be the sinner's stay? In whom his trust on that dread day? When, shrivelling like a parchèd scroll, Oh, on that day, that wrathful day, To GOD the Father, GOD the Son, Amen. 4. REAT GOD, what do I see and hear! The Judge of all men doth appear, The trumpet sounds, the graves restore Great GOD, to Thee our prayers we pour, With wakeful hearts Thy word obey, Amen. YE 5. E servants of the Lord, Let all your lamps be bright, Watch, 'tis your Lord's command,— To GOD, the Father, Son, As was, and is, and shall be so, To all eternity. Amen. 6. OME, O Saviour, long expected, Born to set Thy people free; By Thy watchful Love protected, May we find our rest in Thee. Israel's Strength and Consolation, Born Thy people to deliver, By Thine own Eternal Spirit, Honour, glory, might, dominion, Amen. Christmas Eve. HILE shepherds watched their flocks The Angel of the Lord came down, And glory shone around.
