Preach the acceptable Year,

Rule and reign in us alone;
Make us over and above,
Conq'rors through thy matchless Love,

Seek ye my Face, our Lord invites,
To Day our Feet shall tread thy Courts,
O may our Works be offer'd pure,
Let Heaven, propitious, aid our Souls,
Let Heaven in Pity hear,
And we'll adore thee there.
EARLY our God without delay,
O may thy Glory and thy Power
Thro' all thy Temple shine:
That Vision so Divine.
Not all the Blessings of a Feast,
Can please our Souls so Well,
And in thy Presence dwell.
Not Life itself, with all her Joys,
Can our best Passions move,
As thy forgiving Love,
