The Soldiers of Christ exhorted. AWAKE! my soul, and use thy arm
The powers of hell are near, Awake! to watchfulness and prayer And thou hast nought to fear.
2 Awake! with gospel armour on, In panoply complete ;
Let hope. through grace, thy head adorn And gospel peace thy feet.
3 Awake! and gird thyself with truth,
Be sure to take the shield of faith,
4 Pray!-always pray, and never faint,
