Thou in thy bliss and majesty
Didst live and love alone! 3 Thou wert not born, there was no fount
From which thy being flow'd;
But thou art simply God.
Still at thy throne we lie; Have mercy now, most merciful,
Most Holy Trinity! 132 6s & 4s.
COME, thou Almighty King,
Help us to praise:
Ancient of days.
Our prayer attend:
On us descend.
In this glad hour:
Spirit of power.
4 To the great One in Three
Love and adore.
The God of truth and grace.
All in one thanksgiving join!
Eternal praise be thine! 2 Thee, the first-born sons of light,
In choral symphonies,
And never, never ceaso;
Praise the mystic Three in One;
O’erwhelm'd before thy throne! 3 Father, God, thy love we praise,
Which gave thy son to die; Jesus, full of truth and grace,
Alike we glorify;
Praise by all to thee be given,
And earth is turn'd to heaven.
W For God the Father's love,
To die for sins that we had done. 2 To God the Son belongs
Immortal glory too,
From everlasting woe:
And sees the fruit of all his pains. 3 To God the Spirit's name
Immortal worship give,
Makes the dead sinner live:
And fills the soul with joy divine. 4 Almighty God, to thee
Be endless honours done,
The great and glorious One:
There faith prevails and love adores. 135
