My great Redeemer's praife!
The glories of my GoD and Kino,
The triumphs of his grace!

2 My gracious Mafter, and my God,
Affift me to proclaim,

To fpread thro' all the earth abroad
The honours of thy Name.

3 JESUS, the Name that charms our fears, That bids our forrows cease:

"Tis mufic in the finner's ears;
"Tis life, and health, and peace.

4 He breaks the power of cancell'd fin,
He fets the prisoner free :

His blood can make the fouleft clean :
His blood avail'd for me.

5 He fpeaks,---and liftening to his voice,
New life the dead receive;

The mournful, broken hearts rejoice;
The humble poor believe.

*Those who give out the Hymns, are requeste to mention the Number of the Hymns as well a of the Pages.

6 Hear him, ye deaf; his praise, ye dumb,
Your loofen'd tongues employ;
Ye blind, behold your Saviour come,
And leap, ye lame, for joy!

7 Look unto him, ye nations; own
Your GoD, ye fallen race;

Look, and be fav'd thro' faith alone,
Be juftify'd by grace.

8 See all your fins on Jefus laid:
The LAMB of GOD was flain,
His foul was once an offering made
For every foul of man.

9 Awake from guilty nature's fleep,
And Chrift fhall give you light;
Caft all your fins into the deep,
And wash the Æthiop white :

10 With me, your chief, ye then shall know, Shall feel your fins forgiven; Anticipate your heaven below,

And own that love is heaven.

HYMN 2. [The Invitation. L. M, 1 NOME, finners, to the gospel-feast;

Ye need not one be left behind;
For God hath bidden all mankind.
2 Sent by my Lord, on you I call;
The invitation is to all:

Come, all the world; come, finner, thou;
All things in Chrift are ready now.

3 Come, all ye fouls by fin oppreft,
Ye reftlefs wanderers after reft;

Ye poor, and maim'd, and halt, and blind, In Chrift a hearty welcome find. 1

4 Come, and partake the gospel-feaft,
Be fav'd from fin: In Jefus reft:
O tafte the goodness of your GOD,
And eat his flesh, and drink his blood.
5 Ye vagrant fouls, on you I call;
(O that my voice could reach you all!)
All may be freely juftified;

Ye all may live for Chrift hath died.
6 My meffage as from God receive;
Ye all may come to Chrift, and live:
O let his love your hearts constrain,
Nor fuffer him to die in vain.
7 His love is mighty to compel ;

His conquering love confent to feel;
Yield to his love's refiftless power;
And fight againft your God no more.
8 See him fet forth before your eyes,
That precious bleeding Sacrifice;
His offer'd benefits embrace

And freely now be fav'd by grace! 9 This is the time; no more delay; This is the acceptable day;

Come in, this moment, at his call,
And live for him, who died for all.

5 O haften the hour, Send down from above The Spirit of power, Of health, and of love : Of filial fear, Of knowledge and grace; Of wisdom, and prayer, Of joy, and of praise : 6 The Spirit of faith, Of faith in thy blood, Which faves us from wrath, And brings us

to God:

Removes the huge mountain Of indwelling fin, And opens a fountain That washes us clean.

HYMN 4. [Angels Hymn. L. M.

H%

every one that thirfts, draw nigh; ('Tis Gon invites the fallen race ;) Mercy and free falvation buy;

Buy wine, and milk, and gospel-grace.
"Come to the living waters, come!
Sinners, obey your Maker's call;
Return, ye weary wanderers, home,
And find my grace is free for all.
"See from the Rock a fountain rife!

For you in healing ftreams it rolls;
Money ye need not bring, nor price,
Ye labouring, burthen'd, fin-fick fouls.
Nothing ye in exchange fhall give,
Leave all you have, and are behind;
Frankly the gift of God receive,

Pardon and peace in JESUS find.
