be near, The Lord is our Ref -uge,and whom can we fear? A-MEN.

2 He raiseth the fallen, he cheereth the faint;

The weak and oppressed, he will hear their complaint;
The way may be weary, and thorny the road,
But how can we falter? Our help is in God!

3 And to his green pastures our footsteps he leads;
His flock in the desert how kindly he feeds;

The lambs in his bosom he tenderly bears,

And brings back the wanderers all safe from the snares.

4 Though clouds may surround us, our God is our light;
Though storms rage around us, our God is our might;
So, faint, yet pursuing, still onward we go:

The Lord is our Leader, no fear can we know.

Who trusts in God's unchanging love, Builds on a rock that cannot move.

AMEN.

2 Only your restless heart keep still,
And wait in cheerful hope, content

To take whate'er his gracious will,

His all-discerning love, has sent. — REFRAIN

3 Sing, pray, and swerve not from his ways,
But do thine own part faithfully;

Trust his rich promises of grace,

So shall it be fulfilled in thee. REFRAIN

1. Fa-ther,what-e'er of earthly bliss Thy sov - 'reign will de- nies,

Accept-ed at thy throne of grace, Let this

petition rise:

A-MEN.

2 Give me a calm and thankful heart, 3 Let the sweet hope that thou art mine From every murmur free;

The blessings of thy grace impart, And make me live to thee.

My path of life attend,

Thy presence through my journey shine, And crown my journey's end.
