HYMN 107.-C. M.

he Hope of Heaven our Support_under Trials on earth.

HEN I can read my title clear,
To mansions in the skies,

ll bid farewell to ev'ry fear,
And wipe my weeping eyes.

Should earth against my soul engage,
And hellish darts be hurl'd,
hen I can smile at Satan's rage,
And face a frowning world.

et cares like a wide deluge come,
And storms of sorrow fall;
ay I but safely reach my home,
My God, my Heaven, my All.

ere shall I bathe my weary soul, in seas of heav'nly rest; d not a wave of trouble roll, Across my peaceful breast.

HYMN 108.-P. M.

Jaunch into the deep;
ESUS, at thy command,

And leave my native land,

Where sin lulls all asleep,

For thee I would the world resign, And sail to heaven with thee and thine.

2 Thou art my pilot wise;
My compass is thy word;
My soul each storm defies,
While I bave such a Lord!
I trust thy faithfulness and power,
To save me in the trying hour.

Tho' rocks and quicksands deep,
Through all my passage lie,
Yet Christ will safely keep

And guide me with his eye.
My anchor, hope, shall firm abide,
And ev'ry boist❜rous storm outride.

4 By faith I see the land,

The port of endless rest;
My soul thy sails expand,
And fly to Jesus' breast!

ay I reach the heavenly shore,

here wind and waves distress no more.

Whene'er becalm'd I lie,

And storms for bear to toss.
Be thou, dear Lord, still nigh,
Lest I should suffer loss;

For more the treach'rous calm I dread,
Than tempest bursting o'er my head.

Come, holy Ghost, and blow
A prosperous gale of grace;
Waft me from all below,

To heaven my destin'd place;
Then in full sail my port I'll find,
And leave the world and sin behind.

HYMN 109.--H. M.

Sabbath Morning.

WThou day of sacred rest;

ELCOME, delightful morn,

I hail thy kind return,

Lord make these moments blest, From the low train of mortal toys, soar to reach immortal joys.

Now may the King descend,
And fill his throne of grace;
Thy sceptre, Lord, extend,
While saints address thy face:
Let sinners feel thy quick'ning word,
And learn to know and fear the Lord.

3 Descend celestial Dove,

With all thy quick'ning powers ;
Disclose a Saviour's love,

And bless the sacred hours;
Then shall my soul new life obtain,
Nor Sabbath's be indulg'd in vain.

HYMN 110.-P. M.

the

Lo! an angel descended,
And told the blest news
How the babe was attended;
Go, Shepherds and visit
This wondrous stranger,

With wonder and joy
See your Christ in the manger.

CHORUS,

Hallelujah to the Lamb,

Through whom we've obtain’d pardon,

We'll praise him again,
When we pass over Jordan.

2 Glad tidings I bring
To you and each nation;
Glad tidings of joy,

Now behold your salvation;
When sudden a multitude
Raise their glad voices,
And Shout the Redeemer,
While heaven rejoices.

3 Now glory to God
In the highest is given,
Now glory to God

Is re-echoed through heaven;
Around the whole earth
glad story,

Let us tell

And sing of his love,

His salvation and glory.

4 Enraptur'd I rise
With delight and desire:
Such love so divine,
Sets my soul all on fire;

Around the blest throne
Hosannas are ringing,
