Hail great Immanuel! balmy name
Hail holy, holy, holy, Lord
Hail! thou once-defpifed Jefus
Happy the heart, where graces reign
Happy is he that fears the Lord

Hear what the Lord in vifion faid
Hither ye poor, ye fick, ye blind
Ho! every one that thirfts, draw nigh
Holy Lamb, who thee receive
How fad our ftate by nature is
How rich are thy provifions, Lord
How fweet and awful is the place
How are thy glories here difplay'd
How condefcending and how kind.

HYMNS

FOR

PUBLIC WORSHIP.

HYMN 1.— -KNIGHTSBRIDGE.

'A Α

LMIGHTY God of truth and love,
In me thy pow'r exert,

The mountain from my foul remove,
The hardness of mine heart :
My moft obdurate heart fubdue,
In honour of thy fon;

And now the gracious wonder fhew,
And take away the ftone.

I want a principle within,
Of jealous godly fear,
A fenfibility of fin,

A pain to feel it near:

I want the first approach to feel
Of pride or vain defire,

To catch the wand'rings of my will,

And quench the kindling fire.

From thee that I no more may part,
No more thy goodness grieve;
The filial awe, the fleshly heart,
The tender conscience give:
Quick as the apple of an eye,
O God my confcience make,
Awake my foul when fin is nigh;
And keep it still awake.
