CONSULTATION OF IDOLS, With a view to ascertain the result of wars, neys, and undertakings-a variety of s of witchcraft, divination, necromancy, magic, sorcery, etc., placed on the same round as idolatry by Moses, and pronounced to be vanity and delusion.

Recorded of Naaman the Syrian, after he was cured by the prophet of his leprosy, of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and of others, of whom it is predicted that they will cast their Mentioned in Scripture are-Adrammelech, idols to the moles and to the bats.
