The Lord will preserve me unto His heavenly kingdom. 2 Tim. iv. 18. I appoint unto you a kingdom, as My Father hath appointed unto Me; that ye may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Luke xxii. 29, 30.

The Heavenly Inheritance.-The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.

Eph. i. 18. Who hath begotten us again unto a lively hope, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you.

I Pet. i. 3, 4.

The Enjoyment of God.-As for me, I will behold Thy face in righteousness; I shall

be satisfied, when Psalm xvii. 15.

With Thee is the fountain of life; in Thy light shall we see light.

So shall we ever be with the Lord.

I Thess. iv. 17.

The throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and His servants shall serve Him; and they shall see His face; and His name shall be in their foreheads. Rev. xxii. 3, 4.

Eternal Life.-The righteous shall go away into life eternal.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, on Me hath everlasting life.

The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ

our Lord.

Eternal Life.

This is the promise that He hath promised us, even eternal life. 1 John ii. 25.

God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. That ye may know that ye have eternal life. 1 John v. 11, 13.

PART II.

PROMISES TO SEVERAL GRACES AND DUTIES.

CHAPTER I.

Promises to Duties of the First Table.

1.-To Faith in Christ.

Behoid I lay in Zion, for a foundation, a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner-stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

Isaiah xxviii. 16.

He that believeth on Him shall not be confounded. I Pet. ii. 6. Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. Isa. xlv. 22.

If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. Mark ix. 23.

As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name. John i. 12.

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. He that believeth on Him is not condemned: he that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life.

John iii. 16, 18, 36.

Faith in Christ.

I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on Me should not abide in darkness.

John xii. 46.

Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

Luke vii. 50.

To Him give all the prophets witness, that through His name whosoever believeth in Him shall receive remission of sins. Acts x. 43.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Acts xvi. 31.

Behold, I lay in Sion a stumbling-stone and rock of offence; and whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. Rom. ix. 33.

To Him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Rom. iv. 5.

Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. Rom. x. 4.

They which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. They which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. The Scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

Gal. iii. 9, 7, 22. are--of them that Heb. x. 38, 39. Eph. ii. 8. of them who

The just shall live by faith; we believe, to the saving of the soul. By grace are ye saved through faith.

That ye be not slothful, but followers through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Heb. vi. 12.

We trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of

all men, especially of those that believe.

1 Tim. iv. 10.

Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. John xx. 29. Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavyladen; and I will give you rest. Matt. xi. 28.

And Jesus said unto them: I am the bread of life; he that cometh to Me shall never hunger, and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst. All that the Father giveth Me shall come to Me; and him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out.

John vi. 35, 37.

To whom coming as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God and precious; ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.1 I Pet. ii. 4, 5.

Confessing Christ.-Whosoever shall confess Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in heaven. Matt. x. 32.

If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Rom. x. 9, 10. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

II.-Repentance.

I John iv. 15.

If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin. 2 Chron. vii. 14.
