The following Lectures were recently delivered to a congregation, consisting in a great proportion of the poorer classes, of whom the writer, through the kindness of a friend, had the temporary charge, a bodily infirmity precluding him from permanent duty. Their purpose was to convey such information on the design and details of the Liturgy, as the limits which he precribed to himself, admitted, and the circumstances of those whom he addressed
