LESSON CXXV.

I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. 2 I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou Most High. 3 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving: I will greatly praise the Lord with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude. 4 I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me. 5 For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. 6 I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high. 7. And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long. 8 I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning; for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble. 9 Unto thee, O my Strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy. 10 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee. ‘s 11 I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore. 12 For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds. 13 Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul. 14 I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue. 15 Blessed be God, which hath not turned awaymyprayer, nor his mercy from me. * 16 O God, my heart is fixed, I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. 17 Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. 18 I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. 19 Give ear to my words, O Lord; consider my meditation. 20 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King and my God: for unto thee will I pray. 21 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. ** I will sing of mercy and judgement: unto thee, O Lord, will I sing. 23 I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple. 24 Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hastdone, and thy thoughts

which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. 25 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt-offering and sin-offering hast thou not required. 26 Then said I, Lo, I come : in the volume of the book it is written of me; 27 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. 28 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not restrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest. 29 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy loving-kindness and thy truth from the great congregation. 30 And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it shall rejoice in his salvation. *|31 The heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints. 32 Let all those that seek thee rejoice, and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified. 33 So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever : we will shew forth thy praise to all generations. 34 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. 35 He that is our God, is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death. of 36 Godbe merciful untous, and bless us, and cause his face to shine upon us. 37 That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations. 38 Let the people praise thee, O God: let all the people praise thee. 39 Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. 40 And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory. LESSON CXXVI.

How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts | 2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God. 3 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. 4 They go from strength to strength; every one of them in Zion appeareth before God. 5 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of acob. 6 Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed. 7 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand : I

had rather be a door-keeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedIless. 8 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. 9 O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee. ‘s 10 One thing have I desired of the Lord; that will I seek after, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple. 11 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord. 12 Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem. 13 We took sweet counsel together, and walked into the house of God in company. 14 We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool. 15 Let us go speedily to pray before the Lord, and to seek the Lord of hosts. * 16 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. 17 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great king. 18 God is known in her palaces for a refuge. 19 Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. 20 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary; and bless the Lord. 21 We have thought of thy loving-kindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple. 22 The Lord our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey. 23 O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard; 24 Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved. 25 Sing praises to the Lord, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings. 26 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. 27 Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. 28 Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee. 29 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name. 30 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, from everlasting and to everlasting. Amen, and amen.
