The Cross: God's Way of Salvation

John 3:16 has often been called "the heart of the Bible" and "the gospel in miniature." It especially expresses the true meaning of Christmas--the reason Jesus came into this world. Consider these simple, powerful words:

the greatest Lover
SO LOVED
the greatest degree
THE WORLD
the greatest number
THAT HE GAVE
the greatest act
HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON
the greatest Gift
THAT WHOSOEVER
the greatest invitation
BELIEVETH
the greatest simplicity
IN HIM
the greatest Person
SHOULD NOT PERISH
the greatest deliverance
BUT
the greatest difference
HAVE
the greatest certainty
EVERLASTING LIFE
the greatest possession

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

This Christmas receive the greatest Gift there is--a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He will give you forgiveness of sins, joy beyond measure, and eternal life with God in Heaven. To receive the greatest Gift, simply confess that "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
