Call me forth thy Witnefs, LORD,
Let my Life declare Thy Power,
Born of GoD, renew'd, restor'd,

Thy Truth, and Saving Power,
Waiting to behold Thy Face,
And live-in Sin no more,

All Thy Promifes receive,
'Spight of Hell, and Flesh, and Blood,
I dare at laft Believe.

His Spots the Leopard lofe?
Then may I, enur'd to Sin,
The Path of Virtue chofe.
Surely in Thy Strength I may :
At Thy Word it shall be fo;
I fhall from my Heart obey,
I fhall be white as Snow.
3. I have not believ'd in vain,
The Word of Faith is fure:
How fhould Sin in me remain,
When JESUS faith,
"Perfect as your Father is.
Father, is there Sin in Thee?
Thou art Mine, with All Thy Blifs,
When JESUS lives in me.

When CHRIST is in my Heart,

1.THEE, JESU, Thee the Sinners Friend, I follow on to apprehend,
Renew the Glorious Strife,
Divinely Confident, and Bold
With Faith's ftrong Arm on Thee lay hold,
Thee, my Eternal Life.
2. Tell me, O LORD, if Thine I am,
Tell me Thy New, Myfterious Name,
Or Thou shalt never move:
No, never will I let Thee
Till I Thy Name, Thy Nature know,
And feel that GOD is Love.
3. I feel that I have Power with GOD,
Thou only haft the Power beftow'd,
And arm'd me for the Fight:
A Prince thro' Thee Invincible,
I pray, and wrestle, and prevail,
And conquer in Thy Might.
4. Thy Heart, I know, Thy tender Heart
Doth in my Sorrows feel its Part,
And at my Tears relent,
My powerful Sighs Thou canst not bear,
Nor ftand the Violence of my Prayer,
My Prayer Omnipotent.
Give me the Grace, the Love I claim,
Thy Spirit now demands Thy Name,
Thou knowft the Spirit's Will,
He helps my Soul's Infirmity,
And ftrongly interceeds for me
With Groans Unspeakable.
6. Answer, dear LORD, Thy Spirit's Groan,
O make to me Thy Nature known,
Thy hidden Name impart,
(Thy Title is with Thee the fame)
Tellme Thy Nature, and Thy Name,
And write it on my Heart.
7. Prifoner of Hope, to Thee I turn, And calmly Confident I mourn,
And pray, and weep for Thee:
Tell me Thy Love, Thy Secret tell,
Thy Myftick Name in me reveal,

Come, then, dear LORD, and gather me,
My JESUS, quickly come.

O Glorious Hope of Perfect Love! It lifts me up to Things Above,
It bears on Engle's Wings,
It gives my ravifh'd Soul a Tafte,
And makes me for fome Moments feaft
With JESU's Priests and Kings.
5. Rejoicing now in Earneft Hope,
I ftand, and from the Mountain-Top
See all the Land below,
Rivers of Milk and Honey rife,.
And all the Fruits of Paradife
In endless Plenty grow.
6. A Land of Corn, and Wine, and Oil,
Favour'd with GoD's peculiar Smile,
With every Bleffing bleft;
There dwells the LORD our Righteoufnefs,
And keeps His own in perfect Peace,
And Everlasting Rest.
7. O that I might at once go up,
No more on this Side Jordan ftop,
And now the Land poffefs,
This Moment end my Legal Years,
Sorrows, and Sins, and Doubts and Fears,
An Howling Wilderness!
8. Now, O my Joshua, bring me in,
Caft out my Foes; the Inbred Sin,
The Carnal Mind remove:
The Purchase of Thy Death divide,
