Precious drops! my soul bedewing, 3 Truly blesséd is this station, Low before His cross to lie, While I see divine compassion Floating in His languid eye. 4 Here it is I find my heavén While upon the Lamb I gaze; Here I see my sins forgiven, Gathers round its head sublime. When the woes of life o'ertake me, Hopes deceive, and fears annoy, Never shall the cross forsake me; Lo! it glows with peace and joy. 3 When the sun of bliss is beaming Light and love upon my way, From the cross the radiance streaming Adds new lustre to the day.
