Pleafures and advantages of religious worship. 1 HAPPY who in thy houfe refide, Where thee they ever praise; Happy who in thy care abide, And in their hearts thy ways. 2 Lord, one day in thy courts to be, Than in the joys of vanity 3 I, in the temple of my God Would rather keep the door, 4 For God, the Lord, our fun and shield, From them no good fhall he with-hold, 5 Lord God of hosts, who reign'st on high, Who Who on thee only doth rely, And in thee only rest. PSALM II. M. Divine condefcenfion and goodness to man in his dominion over the inferior creatures. I WHEN to the heavens, thy glorious work, And there behold the moon and ftars 2 Lord, what is man, that he should have 3 Below the angels he is plac'd, 4 The beafts that on the pastures feed, The fish that move within the feas; 5 His fubjects are: yet let not man Whofe Whose power is over all, whofe name Alone is excellent. The acceptable worshipper. 1 LORD, let me know what happy man, In hope may worship thee below, 2 'Tis he, whose life is free from blame, 3 His neighbour's name he never wounds 4 On wicked men, however great, And honours all that fear the Lord, 5 He never changes from his oath, When to his hurt he fwears; P.
