תַּעַשׂוּ : פ 9 הַשְׁבִיעִי מִקְרָא־־־קדֶשׁ כָּל־־־מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא 9 וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר: 10 דַּבֵּר אֶל־־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם כִּי־תָבאוּ אֶל־הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי נֹתֵן לָכֶם וּקְצַרְתֶּם אֶת־קְצִירָהּ וְהֵבֵאתֶם אֶת־עֹמֶר רֵאשִׁית קְצִירְכֶם אֶל־הַכֹּהֵן : ו וְהֵנִיף אֶת־־הָעָמֶר לִפְנֵי יְהוָה לִרְצְנְכֶם מִמָּחֶרַת הַשַׁבָּת יְנִיפֶנּוּ הַכֹּהֵן : 12 וְעָשִׂיתֶם בְּיוֹם הֲנִיפְכֶם אֶת־הָעמֶר כָּבֶשׂ תָּמִים בֶּן־ שְׁנָתוֹ לְעֹלָה לַיהוָה ; 13 וּמִנְחָתוֹ שְׁנֵי עֶשְׂרֹנִים סְלֶת גמבו ק' בְּלוּלָה בַשֶׁמֶן אִשֶׁה לַיהוָה רֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ וְנִסְכָּה יַיִן רְבִיעִת הַהִין : 14 וְלֶחֶם וְקָלִי וְכַרְמֶל לְא תאכְלוּ עַד־יַעֲצֶם הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה עַד הֲבִיאֲכֶם אֶת־קָרְבַּן אֱלֹהֵיכֶם חֲקַת עוֹלָם לדרתֵיכֶם בְּכָל מִשְׁבָתֵיכֶס : ס : 15 וּסְפַרְתִּס לָכֶם מָמָחֲרַת הַשַׁבָּת מִיּוֹם הֲבִיאֲכֶם אֶת־עֹמֶר הַתְּנוּפָה שֶׁבַע שַׁבָּתוֹת תְּמִימָת תִּהְיֶינָה : 16 עֶר מִמָּחָרת הַשַׁבָּת הַשְׁבִיעת תִּסְפְּרוּ חֲמִשִׁים יוֹם וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם מִנְחָה חֲדָשָׁה לַיהוָה: 17 מְמָוֹשְׁבֹתֵיכֶס תָּבִיאוּ לֶחֶם תְּנוּפָה .שְׁתַּיִם שְׁנֵי עֶשְׂרֹנִים סְלֶת תִּהְיִינָה חָמֵץ תֵּאָפֵינָה בִּכּוּרִים לַיהוָה: 18 וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם עַל־־הַלֶחֶם שִׁבְעַת כְּבָשִׂים תְּמִימִם בְּנֵי שָׁנָה וּפַר בֶּן־בָּקָר אֶחָד וְאֵילִם שְׁנָיִם יִהְיוּ עלָה לַיהוָה וּמִנְחָתָם וְנִסְכֵּיהֶם אִשֶׁה רֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ לַיהוָה: 19 וַעֲשִׂיתֶם שְׂעִיר־עַזִים אֶחָד לְחַטָאת וּשְׁנֵי כְבָשִׂים בְּנֵי שָׁנָה לְזֶבַח שְׁלָמִים: 20 וְהֵנִיף הַכֹּהֵן אֹתָם עַל לֶחֶם הַבִּפְּרִיס תְּנוּפָה לִפְנֵי יְהוָה עַל־שְׁנֵי כְּבָשִׂים קֶרֶשׁ יִהְיוּ לַיהוָה לַכֹּהֵן: 21 וּקְרָאתֶם בְּעֶצֶם הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה מִקְרָא קדֶש יִהְיֶה לָכֶם כָּל-מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ חקת עוֹלָם בְּכָל־ מְוֹשִׁבְתֵיכֶם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם: 22 וּבְקָצְרְכֶם אֶת-קְצִיר אַרְצְכֶם לֹא־תְכֶלֶהפְאַת שָׂרְךָ בְּקצרךְ וְלֶקֶט קְצירְדְלָאתְלַקֵטלֶעָנִי וְלַגֵּר תַּעַזְב אֹתָם אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם : א' דגושה 19 20 :: פ holy name: ¶ but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD which hallow you, 33 That brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD. AND th saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. 3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings. the LORD spake untoMoses, 4 These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. ** 5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S passover. 2. offering by fire of them upon the altar unto the LORD 23 Either a bullock or a lamb that hath any thing superfluous * or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer for a free-will-offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted. 24 Ye shall not offer unto the LORD that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut; § neither shall ye make any offering thereof in your land. 25 Neither from a stranger's hand shall ye offer the bread of ‡ your God of any of these: because their corruption is in them, and blemishes be in them; they shall not be accepted for you. 26 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 27 When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat is brought forth, then it 'shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the LORD. 28 And whether it be cow or ewe, † ye shall not kill it and her young both in one day. 29 And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD, offer it at your own will. 30 On the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the morrow: I am the LORD. 31 Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD. 32 Neither shall ye profane my 6 And on the, fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread. 7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work †† therein. 8 But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day |||| is an These are not fit to be offered, as in verse 22. This means, not to castrate any beast; or make any other blemish in it that renders it unfit for sacrifice.. Ye shall not receive any imperfect thing of a stranger, to make it the Lord's offering: which he calleth the bread of the Lord. This means, if you know them to be so. This is an introduction to the next verse, which means, that, if they eat of it the next day, it should not be accepted. For whosoever doth otherwise than God commandeth, polluteth his name. ** For the sabbath was kept every week, and the others but once every year. tt Or, bodily labour, save about that which one must eat, Exodus, chap. xii. ver. 16. The first day of the feast, and the seventh were kept holy during the rest they might work. 26 17 וְאִשֶׁה לֹא־תִתְּנוּ מֵהֶם עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּחַ לַיהָיָה : 23 וְשָׁוֹר וְשֶׁה שָׂרוּעַ וְקָלוּט נְדָבָה תַּעֲשֶׂה אוֹתוֹ וּלְנֶדֶר לֹא יִרְצֶה: 24 וּמָעוּךְ וְכָתוּת וְנָתִוּק וְכָרוּת לֹא תַקְרִיבוּ לַידה וּבְאַרְצְכֶס לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ : 25 וּמִיד בֶּן־נֵכָר לֹא תַקְרִיבוּ אֶת־לֶחֶם אֱלֹהֵיכֶם מִכָּל־אֶלֶה כִּי מִשְׁחָתָם בָּהֶם מוּם בָּם לֹא יִרְצוּ לָכֶם : ס 26 וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶלמשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר : 27 שְׁוֹר אוֹ־כֶשֶׂב אוֹעֶן כִּי יְוֹלֶד וְהָי שִׁבְעַת יָמִים תַּחַת אִמּוֹ וּמִיוֹם הַשְׁמִינִי וָהָלְאָה יֵרָצֶר לְקָרְבַּן אִשֶׁה לַיהוָה : 28 וְשׁוֹר אוֹ־שֶׂה אֹתוֹ וְאֶת־בְּנוֹ לֹא תִשְׁחֲטוּ בְּיוֹם אֶחָד : 29 וְכִי־תִזְבְּחוּ זֶבַח תּוֹדָה לַיְהוָה לִרְצְנְכֶם תִּזְבָּחוּ: 30 בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא יֵאָבֵל לֹא־ תוֹתִירוּ מִמֶּנּוּ עַר־בּקֶר אֲנִי יְהוָה : 31 וּשְׁמַרְתֶּם מִצְוֹתַי וַעֲשִׂיתֶם אֹתָם אֲנִי יְהוָה : 32 וְלָא תְחַלְלוּ אֶת־שֵׁם קָדְשִׁי וְנִקְדַּשְׁתִּי בְּתוֹךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲנִי יְהוָה מְקַדִּשְׁכֶם: 33 הַמּוֹצִיא אֶתְכֶם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם לִהְיוֹת לָכֶם לֵאלֹהִים אֲנִי יְהוָה : בגן וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל-משֶׁה לֵאמֹר: 2 דבר אלבְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם מְוֹעֲדִי יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר־תִּקְרְאוּ אֹתָם מִקְרָאֵי קֹדֶשׁ אֵלֶה הֵם מְוֹעֲדָי: 3 שֵׁשֶׁת יָמִים תַּעֲשֶׂה מְלָאכָה וּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי שַׁבַּת שַׁבָּתוֹן מִקְרָא־ קרֵשׁ כָּל־־מְלָאכָה לֹא תַעֲשֶׂוּ שַׁבָּת הִוא לַיהוָה בְּכָל מְוֹשִׁבְתֵיכֶם : אֵלֶה מִשְׂעֲרֵי יְחָה מִקְרָאֵי קְדֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר־ תִּקְרְאוּ אֹתָם בְּמִוְעֵדְם: 5 בַּחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן בְּאַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר לַחֹדֶשׁ בֵּין הָעַרְבַּיִם פֶּסַח לַיהוָה: 6 וּבַחֲמִשָּׁה נְשָׂר יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ הַזֶּה חַג הַמָּצוֹת לַיהוָה שִׁבְעַת יָמִים מַצְוֹת תּאכֵלוּ : 7 ביום הָרִאשׁון מִקְרָא־־ קדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם כָּל־־מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ : 8 וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם אִשֶׁה לַיהוָה שִׁבְעַת יָמִים בַּיּוֹם פ פ 4 6 man whose seed goeth from him; 5 Or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath; 6 The soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he wash his flesh with water. 7 And when the sun is down, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things; because it is his food. 8 That which dieth of itself, or is torn with beasts, he shall not eat* to defile himself therewith: I am the LORD. 9 They shall therefore keep mine ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do sanctify them. 10 There shall no stranger § eat of the holy thing; a sojourner of the priest, or an hired servant shall not eat of the holy thing. 11 But if the priest buy any soul with his money, || he shall eat of it, and he that is born in his house they shall eat of his meat. 12 If the priest's daughter also be married unto a stranger, ¶ she may not eat of an offering of the holy things. 14 And if a man eat of a holy thing unwittingly, then he shall put the fifth † part thereof unto it, and shall give it unto the priest, with the holy thing. 15 And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer unto the LORD; J 16 Or suffer them †† to bear the iniquity of trespass, when they eat their holy things, for I the LORD do sanctify them. 17 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 18 Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, Whatsoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his free-will-offerings, which they will offer unto the LORD for a burntoffering; 13 But if the priest's daughter be a widow, or divorced, and have no child, and is returned unto her father's house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's meat. But there shall no stranger eat thereof. 19 Ye shall offer at your own will a male without blemish ¶¶ of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats. 20. But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you. 21 And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace-offerings unto the LORD, to accomplish his vow, or a free-will offering in beeves, or sheep, it shall be perfect, to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein. 22 Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not offer these unto the LORD, nor make an *This doth not mean to forbid him to eat of them; for, a priest hath that restriction in common with all Israel, as in Deuteronomy, chap. xiv. ver. 21, but this warns him, that, by eating it, he becomes defiled, and unfit for service till he is cleansed. Which is not of the tribe of Levi. Some read, the servant which had his ear bored, and would not go free, Exodus, chap. xxi. ver. 6. The priest's wife's permission to eat the holy bread is learned from this verse, she being considered as the purchase of his money; for, by the Jewish marriage-ceremonies, the ring, or any thing of a certain value given to her by her husband, constitutes her the purchase of his money. + He shail give that, and a fifth part over. ++ For if they did not offer for their error, the people by their example might commit the like offence. Who is not of the priests kindred. 44 This is an introduction to the blemishes in the next verse. 8 תֵּצֵא מִמֶנוּ שִׁכְבַת־זָרַע: 5 אוֹ־אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִגַּע בְּכָל־ שֶׁרֶץ אֲשֶׁר יִטְמָא לְוֹ אוֹ בְאָדָם אֲשֶׁר יִטְמָא־־לו לכל טְמְאָתוֹ: 6 נֶפֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר תִּגַּע־בּוֹ וְטָמְאָה עַד-הָעָרֶב וְלֹא יאכַל מִן־הַקָדָשִׁים כִּי אִם־רָחַץ בְּשָׂרוֹ בַּמָּיִם: 7 וּבָא הַשֶׁמֶשׁ וְטָהֵר וְאַחַר יֹאכַל מִן־הַקָרָשִׁים כִּי לַחְמוֹ הוּא: נְבֵלָה וּטְרֵפָה לֹא יֹאכַל לְטָמְאָה־־בָה אֲנִי יְהוָה: 9 וְשָׁמְרָוּ אֶת־מִשְׁמַרְתִּי וְלֹא־־יִשְׂאוּ עָלָיו חֵטְא וּמֵתוּ בו כִּי יְחַלְלֵהוּ אֲנִי יְהוָה מְקַדְּשָׁם : 10 וְכָל־זָר לא־יאכַל קדֶשׁ תּוֹשֵׁב כּהֵן וְשָׂכִיר לֹא־יֹאכַל קְדֶשׁ: 11 וְכַהֵן כִּי־ יִקְנֶה נֶפֶשׁ קִנְיָן כַּסְפֿוֹ הִוּא יְאכַל בּוֹ וִילִיד בֵּיתוֹ הֵם יאכְלוּ בְלַחְמָוֹ : 12 וּבַת־כּהֵן כִּי תֵהיה לאיש זר הוא בִּתְרוּמַת הַקְדָשִׁים לֹא האֹכֶל: 13 וּבַת־כּהֵן כִּי תָהִיה אַלְמָנָה וּגְרוּשָׁה וְזֶרַע אֵין לָהּ וְשָׁבָה אֶל־־בֵּית אָבִיהָ בְּנְעוּרֶיהָ מִלְחֶם אָבִיהָ תּאכַל וְכָל־זָר לא־יאכַל בּוֹ : 14 וְאִישׁ כִּי־יאכַל קְדֶשׁ בִּשְׁנָנָה וְיָסַף חֲמָשִׁיתוּ עָלָיו וְנָתַן לַכֹּהֵן אֶת־־הַקדֶש: 15 וְלֹא יְהַלְלוּ אֶת־־קָדְשִׁי בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֵת אֲשֶׁר־יָרִימוּ לַיהוָה : 16 וְהִשִׁיאוּ אוֹתָם ערן אַשְׁמָה בְּאָכְלָם אֶת־־קָדְשֵׁיהֶם כִּי אֲנִי יְהוָה מְקַדְּשָׁס : שלישי 17 וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר: 18 דַבֵּר אֶל־אַהֲר וְאֶל־בָּנָיו וְאֶל כָּל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם אִישׁ אִישׁ מִבֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמִן־־הַנֵּר בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר יַקְרִיב קָרְבָּנוֹ לְכָל־נְדְרֵיהֶם וּלְכָל־־נִדְבוֹתָם אֲשֶׁר־־יַקְרִיבוּ לַיהוָה לעלָה: 19 לִרְצָנְכֶס תָּמִים זָכָר בַּבָּקָר בַּכְּשָׂבִים וּבָעַזִים: 20 כָּל אֲשֶׁר־בּוֹ מוּם לֹא תַקְרִיבוּ כִּי־לֹא לְרָצוֹן יִהְיֶה לָכֶם: 21 וְאִישׁ כִּי־יַקְרִיב זבח־שְׁלָמִים לַיהוָה לְפַלְא־ נדר אוֹ לִנְדָבָה בַבָּקָר אוֹ בַצאן תָּמִים יִהְיֶה לְרָצוֹן כָּל־מוּם לֹא יִהְיֶה־בּוֹ : 22 ערֶת אוֹ שָׁבוּר אוֹ חָרוּץ אריבֶּלֶת אוֹ גָרָב אוֹ יַלֶּפֶת לֹא־תַקְרִיבוּ אֵלֶה לַיהיָה : פ |
