In one of Dr. Doddridge's excellent sermons on the Religious Education of Children, he exhorts parents not to rest satisfied with imparting that knowledge which is adapted to the early years of childhood; but as the objects of their solicitude attain to greater ripeness of understanding, to attempt something further.
