knit together thine elect in one communion and fellowship, in the myftical body of thy Son Chrift our Lord; grant us grace fo to follow thy bleffed Saints in all virtuous and godly living, that we may come to thofe unfpeakable joys, which thou haft prepared for those who unfeignedly love thee, through Lord. Jefus Chrift our Amen.

ND I faw another angel afcending from the east, having the feal of the living

God; and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the fea, faying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have fealed the fervants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were fealed; and there were fealed an hundred and forty and four thousand, of all the tribes of the children of Ifrael.

Of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand.

Of the tribe of Reuben were fealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were fealed twelve thousand.

Rejoice and be exceeding glad for great is your reward in heaven: for fo perfecuted they the prophets which were before you.

ADMINISTRATION of the LORD's SUPPER, or,

HOLY COMMUNION.

¶IF among those who come to be partakers of the Holy Communion, the Minifter fhall know any to be an open and notorious evil liver, or to have done any wrong to his neighbours by word or deed, fo that the Congregation be thereby offended; he shall advertise him, that he prefume not to come to the Lord's Table, until he have openly declared himself to have truly repented and amended his former evil life, that the Congregation may thereby be fatisfied; and that he hath recompenfed the parties to whom be bath done wrong; or at least declare himself to be in full purpofe fo to do, as foon as he conveniently may.

¶The fame order shall the Minifter ufe with those, betwixt whom be perceiveth malice and hatred to reign; not fuffering them to be partakers of the Lord's Table, until be know them to be reconciled. And if one of the parties, fo at variance, be content to forgive from the bottom of his heart all that the other hath trefpaffed against him, and to make amends for that wherein he himfelf bath offended; and the other party will not be perfuaded to a godly unity, but remain ftill in his frowardness and malice; the Minifter in that cafe ought to admit the penitent perfon to the Holy Communion, and not him that is obftinate: Provided, that every Minifter fo repelling any, as is herein specified, shall be obliged to give an account of the fame to the Ordinary, as foon as conveniently may be.

¶The Table, at the Communion-time, having a fair white linen cloth upon it, fhall ftand in the body of the Church, or in the Chancel; and the Minifter, ftanding at the north fide of the table, or where Morning and Evening Prayer are appointed to be faid, fhall fay the Lord's Prayer and the Collect following, the People kneeling; but the Lord's Prayer may be omitted, if Morning Prayer bath been faid immediately before.

LMIGHTY God, unto whom all hearts are open, all defires known, and from whom no fecrets are that love me, and keep my hid; cleanse the thoughts of commandments. our hearts by the infpiration of thy holy Spirit; that we may perfectly love thee, and worthily magnify thy holy Name, through Chrift our Lord. Amen.

Minifter. Thou shalt not take the Name of the Lord thy God in vain: For the Lord will not hold him guiltlefs, that taketh his Name in vain.
