The first is an interesting tract on the conversion of Victor von Carben from Judaism to Christianity, written by himself; with dialogues, at the end, between a Christian and a Jew on the relative merits of their respective belief. The second tract, having on the title in French Qui bien leur feroit rayson,' treats on the prayers and ceremonies of the Jews before meals.

A magnificent specimen of Sicilian Binding at the period, and probably the Dedication copy to the Duke of Veraguas (descendant of Columbus), Vice-Roy of Sicily. The coating is old brown morocco, with gilt edges, having the sides and back completely covered with elaborate tooling. The

work itself is of considerable rarity, and was unknown to Brunet when he published the last edition of his valuable Manuel du Libraire.

This original edition of the modern Greek versification of the Iliad of Homer, is of the greatest possible rarity, and is unknown to many bibliographers. As a specimen of the metre the opening stanza is subjoined :
