3 We to the Holy Ghost give praise,
Who, in our hearts of fin and woe,
Makes living streams of grace arife,
And into boundless glory flow.

4 Thus God the Father, God the Son,
And God the Spirit, we adore- .
That fea of life and love unknown,
Without a bottom or a fhore.

WE give immortal praise

To God the Father's love,

For all our comforts here,

And better hopes above:

He fent his own beloved Son
To die for fins that we had done.

To God the Son belongs
Immortal glory too,

Who bought us with his blood
From everlasting woe:

In glory now fupreme he reigns,
And fees the fruit of all his pains.

To God the Spirit's name

Immortal praises give,

Whofe grace and quick'ning pow'r
Make a dead finner live:

'Tis he completes the great defign, And makes the great falvation mine.

Almighty God, to thee

Be endless honours done-
The great myfterious Three,
Yet undivided One.

Where reafon fails, with all her pow'rs,
There faith prevails, and love adores.

E this our fong-be this our boast→
A truth by nature never learn'd-
That Father, Son, and Holy Ghost,
To fave our fouls are all concern'd.

2 The Father's love in this we find-
He made his Son a facrifice:
The Son, in love, his life refign'd;
The Spirit of love his blood applics,

3 Glory to God the Father be,

Because he sent the Son to die;
Glory to God the Son, that he
Did with fuch willingness comply.

4 Glory to God the Holy Ghoft,

Who to our hearts this love reveals: Thus God Three-one to finners loft

Salvation fends, procures, and feals.

HE Father we bless,
Whofe diftinguishing grace

Has chofen a people to fhew forth his praife:
To us it is known,

We are fav'd alone

Because we for ever were lov'd in the Son.

2 Our praises afcend To Jefus, our friend,

Who fayes to the utmost, and loves to the end: Our ransom he paid;

And, in him array'd,

We attain to the glory for which we were made.

3 O Spirit divine!

To reftore us is thine;

And, by thee renew'd, we in glory shall shine: For this is thy part,

To convince and convert,

And give a new life, and create a new heart.

Father, Spirit, and Son,
Agree thus in one

To these we ascribe our salvation alone.

The great mystery,

In which we agree,

Is "To worship One God, in covenant three."

136.

TO Father, Son, and Holy Ghost,

One God, whom all the heav'nly hoft,
And faints on earth, adore;

To him shall endless praise be giv'n,
Who reigns alone in earth and heav'n,
Both now and evermore,

'HE Father fent the Son to die;

THE

The willing Son obey'd;

The Holy Ghoft doth ratify
The purchase Christ has made,

138.

GIVE glory to God, ye children of men;
And publish abroad, again and again,

The Son's full redemption, the Father's free grace,
The gifts of the Spirit, to Adam's loft race.

139.

PRAISE God, from whom all bleffings flow

Praise him, all creatures here below;

Praise him above, ye heav'nly host;
Praife Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

140.

The grace of our Lord Jefus Chrift, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghoft, be with you all. 2 Cor. xiii. 14.

I and my Father are one. John x. 30.

I in them, and thou in me, that they may be mad perfect in one. John xvii. 23.

MAY the grace of Chrift our Saviour,

May the Father's boundless love,

May the Holy Spirit's favour,

Reft

upon us from above!

2 May we see the bleffed union

"Twixt the Father and the Son! May the Spirit's fweet communion Make us perfect all in one!
