Whose cheerful hearts in bands unite

Of harmony and love ! 2 What streams of bliss from CHRIST, the spring,

Descend on every soul;
And heavenly peace, with balmy wing,

Shades and revives the whole.
3 'Tis pleasant as the morning dews

Where God his mildest glory shows,

And makes his grace distil.

Our mutual burdens bear; And often for each other flows

The sympathizing tear. 4 When we asunder part,

It gives us inward pain,
But we shall still be joined in heart,

And hope to meet again.

And sin we shall be free;
And perfect love and friendship reign

Through all eternity.

Hymn 17. S. M.
Tow beauteous are their feet

And words of peace reveal ! 2 How charming is their voice!

So sweet the tidings are !
“ Zion, behold thy Saviour King

He reigns and triumphs here!"
How happy are our ears,

That hear the joyful sound,
Which kings and prophets waited for,

And sought but never found ! 4 How blessed are our eyes,

That see this heavenly light;
