I pray Thee for all whom Thou hast called to labour in distant harvest-fields that they may bring home their sheaves rejoicing.

But more especially I entreat Thee for the church and congregation to which by Thy Mercy I belong; that Thou wouldest give to all of us increased love and devotion to Thy Holy Things, an everdeepening penitence, an ever-renewed sanctification of life.

For Thy Priest, my spiritual Father; that Thou wouldest regard the Sacrifice of Thy SON, as offered by him in Thy Holy Place, and receive his prayers for his people, and prosper him in all his ministrations. Be Thou, O LORD, the very Joy of his heart, and his Portion for

ever.

I pray Thee for all Christian people; for the sick, the sad, . . . the sorrowful; that Thou wouldest make Thyself known unto them in the mystery of suffering.

I pray Thee in Thy Love to look pitifully upon the insane; deal with them according to Thy Name, for sweet is Thy Mercy, and bring them out of darkness into Light.

For the sinful and the hardened; for those who know Thy ways yet walk not in them; for those who hear Thy Truth,

yet love it not, and for all who are hastening to their own destruction. Spare, O LORD, and destroy them not ! Make their faces ashamed, that they may seek Thy Name.

I pray Thee earnestly for all in doubt, that Thou wouldest touch their hearts with a sense of their great need of Redemption, and so draw them through the Cross unto Thyself.

For all who desire to turn from sin to Thee, yet know not how to repent; that Thou, O Merciful Absolver, wilt bring them through the Ministry of Reconciliation to the peace and purity which Thou desirest for them.

For all in temptation; that Thy Strength may be made perfect in their weakness.

I pray Thee for all children-the lambs of Thy Flock; that Thou wouldest gather them with Thine Arm and carry them in Thy Bosom.

For the dying, that death may be to them the gate of Everlasting Life; and for all in their last agony, that Thou wouldest Thyself be their Viaticumtheir Refreshment by the Way.

I pray Thee for all the faithful whom Thou hast taken hence; that Thou wouldest grant them forgiveness of all their sins, and a hope full of immortality.
