Wednesday Morning.

Let us pray.

FATHER, Creator of the world, Whose tender mercy is over all Thy works,

Have mercy upon us, for Thy mercy's sake.

O Christ, Redeemer of men, Who camest to call sinners to repentance,

Have mercy upon us, for Thy mercy's sake.

O Holy Spirit, Guide and Sanctifier of Thy Church,

Have mercy upon us, for Thy mercy's sake.

We beseech Thee, O Lord, mercifully to hear us, and to give us a true sorrow for our sins, that condemning ourselves we may escape Thy condemnation,

We beseech Thee to hear us, good Lord.

That in Thy mercy Thou wouldest blot out as a thick cloud our transgressions, and as a cloud our sins,

Grant this, good Lord.

That we may love Thee, O Lord, with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our strength,

Grant this, good Lord.

That in our daily life we may serve and glorify Thee,
Grant this, good Lord.

That we may be kind and tender-hearted, forbearing one another, and forgiving one another.

Hear us, good Lord.

That it may please Thee to pour down the abundance of Thy grace upon all that are near and dear to us,

Hear us, good Lord.

That Thy Presence may abide with them and us, and may give us light,

Hear us, good Lord.

That we may see Thee now by faith, and living or dying may still be Thine,

Hear us, good Lord.

That our eyes may see the King in His beauty, and may behold the Land that is very far off.

Grant, O good Lord.

UR Father, Which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; But deliver us from evil. Amen.

GOD, on Whom the eyes of all do wait, and Who hast ordered the change of day and night, we thank Thee for Thy protection during the hours of darkness. All love and glory be to Thee for Thy mercies renewed every morning, for daily bread, and the comforts of our lot, and for our preservation from all evil accidents at home or abroad. We thank Thee for the gifts granted to our prayers, and also for all that in Thy wisdom Thou hast denied. Still surround us with Thy mercy, and give us this day all we need, not according to our unworthiness, or our blindness in asking, but according to Thine own greatness and bounty, and for the sake of Him Who gave Himself for us, Thy Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

The wisdom of the Lord is great; He is mighty in power, and beholdeth all things.

Who shall declare His Majesty, and who shall tell out His mercies?

In His Hand are power and might; and in His Hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.

Now therefore, O God, we thank Thee, and praise Thy glorious Name.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost.

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

AY God Almighty bless us, and of His mercy vouchsafe to deliver us from sin and evil, this day and for ever. Amen.

Wednesday Evening.

LORD, we beseech Thee mercifully to hear us; and grant. that we, to whom Thou hast given an hearty desire to pray, may by Thy mighty aid be defended and comforted in all dangers and adversities; through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

THOU, Who hast made the night for rest, and the day for labour, preserve us in our lying down and rising up. Grant us Thy forgiveness before we sleep, that we may pass the night without fear, safe in Thy loving care and protection, for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.

The Lord is my Shepherd; therefore can I lack nothing.
The Good Shepherd careth for His sheep.

He will seek out that which is lost,

And will bring again that which was driven back. He will feed them in a good pasture,

And upon the high mountains shall their fold be.

He will seek out His sheep, and deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the dark and cloudy day.

JESUS, the Good Shepherd, have compassion upon the sheep whom Thou camest to seek. Keep us ever with Thy flock. Take us into Thy care; and bring us back to Thy fold when we go astray. Teach us to know Thy Voice, and not the voice of strangers. Thy goodness never faileth. If Thou art with us, we shall not lack any good thing, neither shall we fear any evil. Increase Thy flock in the world, we pray Thee; and gather together Thy people at last, O King of Peace, into Thy Kingdom of eternal peace and perfect holiness. Amen.

OUR

GOD, we thank Thee for the guardian care of Thy holy Angels. Grant that being refreshed by their protection and ministry, we may serve Thee on earth as they serve Thee in heaven, and may rejoice in their eternal companionship hereafter, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Ye servants of His that do His pleasure. O ye Angels of the Lord, bless ye the Lord. Praise Him, and magnify Him for ever.

O praise the Lord, all ye His hosts.

Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord.

FATHER of lights, Giver of all good gifts, Who art the Fountain of Peace, give us, we pray Thee, some foretaste of Thy perfect peace all the days of our life; and grant us the fulness of Thy peace hereafter among Thy Saints, where is no toil, nor sorrow, nor sighing, but endless life and bliss. Amen.

In the celestial Kingdom is the habitation of the Saints; and everlasting is their rest.

Grant, O Lord, that our lot and portion may be with them.
