Sunday Evening.

UR Father, Which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; Bnt deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, For ever and Amen.

ever.

There remaineth a rest for the people of God,

Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest.

The Almighty and Merciful God grant us a quiet night, and at the last a peaceful end. Amen.

HEAVENLY Father, grant us Thy peace at the close of this holy day. May we rest from all anxious thoughts and earthly cares. Keep our souls still and quiet before Thee, that the light of Thy Love may be reflected upon us, and may kindle in our hearts the glow of faith and love. May we through such stillness and hope, find strength and gladness in Thee, O God, now and evermore. Amen.

The secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him.
And He will shew them His Covenant.

Whoso dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High;
He shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Abide with us, O Lord, for it is toward evening, and the day
is far spent.

Abide with us, O Lord, for the night is at hand.

GOD, we thank Thee with our whole heart for the great

love wherewith Thou hast loved us. Thou dost bear us on Thy Heart; Thou dost never forget or forsake us; Thou hearest our prayers; our griefs and our conflicts are all marked by Thee. And, above all, in the Gift of Thy dear Son Thou hast delivered us from sin and death, and dost draw us into union with Thyself. Lord, open our hearts to receive Thy Love. May we dwell in the remembrance of it, wherever we are, and whatever we do. O Thou, Whose Nature and Name is Love, enkindle our affections, enlighten our understandings, sanctify our wills, and cleanse and direct the thoughts of our hearts. All this we ask for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.

The hope of the ungodly is like dust that is borne away with the wind.

But the righteous live for evermore.

Their reward also is with the Lord.

And the care of them is with the Most High. Therefore shall they receive a glorious Kingdom. And a beautiful crown from the Lord's Hand. For with His Right Hand shall He cover them. And with His Arm shall He protect them.

(UIDE us, O Lord our God, in all the changes of this mortal

things may may

calm and peaceful spirit, and our souls may be wholly resigned to Thy Will; that so, following the Lamb whithersoever He goeth, we may abide in Thy love for ever.

Amen.

[AY the Almighty and Merciful God grant us a quiet night, and a peaceful end, and bring us safe to the Eternal Day. Amen.

Monday Morning.

(To be said by all together.)

FATHER, we have sinned against heaven and before Thee, and are no more worthy to be called Thy children. Hear us, who have been far off, and come forth in Thy mercy to help us, that we who have been as dead may now be alive again, that we who have been as lost may be found, through the mercy and merits of Jesus Christ, the Saviour and Shepherd of our souls. Amen.

Glended free in thought, word, or deed, by our wilfulness,

GOD, we grieve with our whole heart that we have ever

negligence, or ignorance; and we resolve, by the help of Thy grace, to avoid henceforth every occasion of sin. O God, be merciful to us sinners, now and always. Amen.

O Thou, Who hast never forsaken us, grant that we may not forsake Thee.

May we never do dishonour to Thy Name, either by our words or our deeds.

Wherever we are, whatever we do, Thou, Lord, seest us.
Keep us, therefore, in Thy fear all the day long.

UR Father, Which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name.

in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; But deliver us from evil. Amen.

COLLECT FOR THE DAY

GOD, our Strength and our Redeemer, our Father and Deliverer, the Lord in Whom we trust, we thank and praise Thee that Thou hast bidden us awake from sleep, in health and comfort. Awaken also our hearts, that this day and throughout the week we may serve Thee obediently, and may quietly, in our several callings, do Thy Will. And we beseech Thee, good Lord, awaken us one day with joy to the Morning that shall be Eternal, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

O Sun of righteousness, bright and morning Star,

Rise and shine into our souls.

O Light, Which lighteth every man that cometh into the world,

Following Thee, we follow the Light of life.

(To be said by all together.)

Day-Spring, Brightness of the Everlasting Light, Thou Sun of righteousness, come with healing in Thy Wings, and rise on them that walk in darkness, Who art our only Light, blessed for ever. Amen.

A

LMIGHTY God, Who hast promised to hear the petitions of them that ask in Thy Son's Name, we beseech Thee mercifully to incline Thine ears to us, that have made now our prayers and supplications unto Thee; and grant that those things which we have faithfully asked according to Thy Will may effectually be obtained, to the relief of our necessity, and to the setting forth of Thy glory; through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

MAY

AY the Lord bless us, and keep us, and grant us light and peace, this day and for evermore. Amen.

Monday Evening.

LMIGHTY and Everlasting God, we give Thee thanks for the health and safety granted us this day; and we pray Thee that in whatsoever we have fallen short of our duty, or have erred from Thy precepts, all this Thou wouldst of Thy Fatherly goodness remit to us, and forgive, through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

My song shall be alway of the loving-kindness of the Lord. For He is our life, and with Him is the length of our days.

My people shall be satisfied with My goodness, saith the Lord. He satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

GOD, the Light of every soul that knows Thee, the Life of all hearts that love Thee, the Strength and great Reward of those that seek Thee, grant us grace to cleave firmly to Thee, and to love Thee above all things Take possession of our hearts, and satisfy us with Thy Eternal riches, that we may not over-much desire earthly things, nor dwell only in the things that pass away, but may find our true joy in Thee alone. Amen.

OUR

UR Father, Which art in heaven, Hallowed Le Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; But deliver us from evil. Amen.

LORD, by Whom all souls do live, accept our praise and thanksgiving for those who have departed this life in Thy faith, and in the confession of Thy Holy Name. Gather us with them to Thy Eternal Home, where no enemy enters, and from which no friend departs, and where the pure in heart shall see Thee. We ask this through Him Who is Emmanuel, God with us, Thy Son Jesus Christ. Amen.
