The Priefts of Baal are destroyed by his Order, Jezebel the Queen denounces Vengeance againft him. Abab coveting Naboth's Vineyard, orders him to be murder'd, and takes Poffeffion of the Vineyard. After this, Ben-badad befiegeth Samaria, which is reduced to fuch Diftress by Famine, that Women eat their own Children. The Syrian Army being ftruck with a Pannick Fear, fly, leaving their Camp ftanding, with all their Baggage, whereby the People enjoy the great Plenty foretold by Elifba. Jeboram is killed by Ho-Jebu in the Field of Naboth. 10. Jebu reigns 28 Years. Orders Jezebel to be thrown out of a Window: She is eaten by Dogs as was foretold by the Prophet.
