John xi. 26. Whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die, or shall not die for ever. xx. 31. These are written that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God, and that believing ye might have life through his name. Acts xvi. 31. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness which the Lord the righteous judge shall give me at that day, and not to me only, but unto all them that love his appearing. Heb. iv. 3. Things extraordinary promised to the faith of some primitive Christians. Matt. xxi. 21.
