lxiii. 16. Doubtless thou art our Father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O Lord, art our Father, our Redeemer. Ver. 8.

XXXVII. How any of mankind come into the relation of children, of tons and daughters unto God, besides that of being created by God. John i. 12. To as many as received Christ, to them gave he power to be-come the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.
Ver. 13. Who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
John iii. 3. Jesus said, except a man be born again, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Ver. 5. Except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Tit. iii. 5, 6.
Ver. 6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Ver. 7. Marvel not that I said ye must be born again.
Ver. 8. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, canst not discern whence it cometh and whither it goeth, so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Gal. iii. 26. Ye are all the children of God, by faith in Jesus Christ. —iv. 4. God sent forth his Son made of a woman, made under the law to redeem them that were under the law;
Ver. 5. That we might receive the adoption of sons.
Eph. i. 4. God hath chosen us in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.

XXXVIII. Blessing* from God as a Father to his fieo/ile, as his children.
Matt. vi. 6. Thy Father shall reward thee openly. Ver. 8. Your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Ver. 14. Your heavenly Father will forgive your trespasses, x. 29. A sparrow shall not fall to the ground without your Father. Ver. 30. The very hairs of your head are numbered. Ver. 31. Fear ye not, therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
xiii. 43. The righteous shall shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.
xviii. 14. It is not the will of your Father that one of these little ones should perish.
Luke xii. 32. Fear not little flock, it is your Father's good will to give you the kingdom.
John xi. 5 1. The high priest prophesied, that Jesus should die.
Ver. 52. And gather together in one the children of God.
Hom. i. 7. Grace to you and peace from God our Father.
viii. 15. Ye have received the Spirit of adoption whereby we cry, Abba Father. Gal. iv. 6. Piecause ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying Abba, Father.

Mat. v. 9. Blessed are the peace-makers, for they shall be called the children of God.

Ver. 6. For whom the Lord loveth, he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he rcceivelh.
Ver. 7. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons, for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not.
Ver. 8. If ye be without chastisement whereof all arc partakers, then are ye bastards and not sons.
Vcr. 9. Shall we not be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?

Matt. xviii. 35. Forgive every one his brother's trespass.

xiv. 13. Let no man put a stumbling-block, or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
xvi. 17. I beseech ye, brethren, mark them which cause divisions, and offences, and avoid them.

XLII. Christ is the elder brother. John xx. 17. Jesus said, go unto my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father, to my God and your God.
Rom. viii. 29. Whom he did foreknow, he did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the first-born among many brethren.
Heb. ii. 11. He is not ashamed to call them brethren.
Ver. 12. Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren.
Ver. IT. It behoved him to be made like unto his brethren.
XLIII. Ceod is a Saviour. 2 Sam. xxii. 3. The God of my rock, my Saviour.
Ps. cvi. 21. They forgot God their Saviour.
Isa. xliii. 3. I am the Lord thy God, the holy one of Israel, thy Saviour. Isa. lx. 16.
xlix. 26. I will feed them, that oppress thee, with their own flesh, and they shall be drunken with their own blood, and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Saviour, and thy Redeemer, the mighty one of Jacob. Zech. xiv. 12. ,
Jer. xiv. 8. O the hope of Israel, the saviour thereof, in time of trouble, why shouldst thou be a stranger in the land?
Hos. xiii. 4. There is no Saviour besides me, saith the Lord. Isa. xliii. 11.—xiv. 21.
