MORNING PRAYER.

All standing, the head of the family (or the priest or deacon, if present) says:

. O Lord, open Thou our lips.

Ry. And our mouth shall shew forth Thy praise.

. O God, make speed to save us.

R. O Lord, make haste to help us.

. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy

Ghost.

Ry. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Then he says one of the following Psalms:

Innocents.

O let me have understanding : in the way of godliness.

When wilt Thou come unto me: I will walk in my house with a perfect heart.

hand; I hate the sins of unfaith-
I will take no wicked thing in

LORD our Governor, how excellent is Thy name in all the world: Thou that hast set Thy glory above the heavens !

Then he says,

Then he reads one of the short chapters following:

From the Holy Gospel according to St. Matthew.

I will offer to Thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving: and will call upon the name of the Lord.

I will pay my vows unto the Lord, in the sight of all His people in the courts of the Lord's house, even in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise the Lord.
