LORD, my God, at evening time I lift up my hands unto Thee. Come unto us like the latter rains that make the earth fruitful. Abide with us, for the day is far spent, the evening is at hand, and in the darkness there is no one to defend us except Thou alone, O God. Hasten to uphold us.
