Christmas Day and Seven Days after.

To be said after the Psalms and Lessons appointed by the Kalendar, all standing.

ND the angels said unto them, Fear not:
For behold, I bring you good tidings of

great joy, which shall be to all people.

For unto you is born this day, in the city of David,

A Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God, and saying,

Glory to God in the highest, and peace on earth, goodwill towards men. ST. LUKE ii. 10, 11, 13,

14.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:

And the government shall be upon his shoulder.

And his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor,

The Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.—ISAIAH ix. 6.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son: and to the Holy Ghost;

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be world without end. Amen.

:

Epiphany and during Epiphanytide.

To be said after the Psalms and Lessons appointed by the Kalendar, all standing.

RISE, shine; for the light is come,

And the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people:

But the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

And the Gentiles shall come to thy light,
And kings to the brightness of thy rising.

The sun shall be no more thy light by day:
Neither for brightness shall the moon give light

unto thee:

But the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting

light,

And thy God thy glory.

Thy sun shall no more go down;

Neither shall thy moon withdraw itself:

For the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, And the days of thy mourning shall be ended. -ISAIAH lx. 1, 2, 3, 19, 20.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son: and to the Holy Ghost;

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be: world without end. Amen.

Septuagesima, &c.

To be said after the Psalms and Lessons appointed by the Kalendar, all standing.

Now

OW saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart,

And with fasting, and with weeping and with mourning:

And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God:

For he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth of the evil.

Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him:

Even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the Lord your God?-JOEL ii. 12, 13, 14.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son: and to the Holy Ghost;

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be world without end. Amen.
