Sunday Morning.

INVOCATION.

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

A general Confession to be said, all kneeling.

ALMIGHTY and most merciful Father; We

have erred, and strayed from thy ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against thy holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done; And we have done those things which we ought not to have done; And there is no health in us. But thou, O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable offenders. Spare thou them, O God, which confess their faults. Restore thou them that are penitent; According to thy promises declared unto mankind in Christ Jesu our Lord. And grant, O most merciful Father, for his sake; That we may hereafter live a godly, righteous, and sober life, To the glory of thy holy Name. Amen.

PRAYER FOR REMISSION OF SINS.

LORD, we beseech thee, mercifully hear

our prayers, and spare all those who confess their sins unto thee; that they whose consciences by sin are accused, by thy merciful pardon may be absolved; through Christ our Lord. Amen.

THEN LIKEWISE THE LORD'S PRAYER.

UR Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; But deliver us from evil : For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

V. O Lord, open thou our lips.

R. And our mouth shall shew forth thy praise.

V. O God, make speed to save us.

R. O Lord, make haste to help us.

Here all standing up.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost;

Answer. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be: world without end. Amen.

V. Praise ye the Lord.

R. The Lord's Name be praised.

Then shall be said the Psalms in order as they are appointed, and the Lessons appointed by the Kalendar.

V. The Lord be with you.

R. And with thy spirit.

Let us pray.

Lord, have mercy upon us.

Christ, have mercy upon us.

Lord, have mercy upon us.

V. O Lord, shew thy mercy upon us.
R. And grant us thy salvation.

V. O Lord, save the Queen.

R. And mercifully hear us when we call upon thee.

V. Endue thy Ministers with righteousness.
R. And make thy chosen people joyful.
V. O Lord, save thy people.

R. And bless thine inheritance.

V. Give peace in our time, O Lord.

R. Because there is none other that fighteth

for us, but only thou, O God.

V. O God, make clean our hearts within us.
R. And take not thy holy Spirit from us.

A PRAYER FOR UNITY.

GOD the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, our only Saviour the Prince of Peace: Give us grace seriously to lay to heart the great dangers we are in by our unhappy divisions. Take away all hatred and prejudice, and whatever else may hinder us from godly union and concord; that, as there is but one Body, and one Spirit, and one Hope of our Calling, one Lord, one Faith, one Baptism, one God and Father of us all, so we may henceforth be all of one heart, and of one soul, united in one holy bond of Truth and Peace, of Faith and Charity, and may with one mind and one mouth glorify thee; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

GRANT, O LORD, we beseech thee, that the

course of this world may be so peaceably ordered by thy governance, that thy Church may joyfully serve thee in all godly quietness, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

MOS

INTERCESSION.

OST merciful Father, we beseech thee to send upon thy servants, the clergy, thy heavenly blessing; that they may be clothed with righteousness, and that thy Word spoken by their mouths may have such success, that it may

never be spoken in vain. Grant also, that we may have grace to hear and receive what they shall deliver out of thy most holy Word, or agreeable to the same, as the means of our salvation; that in all our words and deeds we may seek thy glory and the increase of thy kingdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Or,

ALMIGHTY GOD, who by thy Son Jesus

Christ didst give to thy holy Apostles many

excellent gifts, and didst charge them to feed thy flock; Give grace, we beseech thee, to all Bishops and Pastors of thy Church, that they may diligently preach thy Word, and duly administer the godly Discipline thereof; and grant to the people, that they may obediently follow the same; that all may receive the crown of everlasting glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

BEFORE THE HOLY COMMUNION EITHER OF THE

FOLLOWING PRAYERS.

GOD, whose blessed Son our Saviour Jesus Christ was made partaker of death for us, that we might be partakers with him of Life Eternal, who also in the same night in which He was betrayed, did institute and ordain holy mysteries, as pledges of his love, and for a continual remembrance of his death; mercifully grant that we, with all those who shall this day come
