3 Nature shall be dissolv'd, and die,
The sun must end his race,
The earth and sea for ever fly
Before my Saviour's face.

4 When will that glorious morning rise,
When the last trumpet's sound
Shall call the nations to the skies,
From underneath the ground?

YE

(MATT: XXV. 6.)

P. M.

E virgin souls, arise;

With all the dead awake!

Unto salvation wise,

Oil in your vessels take:

Upstarting at the midnight cry,

Behold the heavenly Bridegroom nigh.

2 He comes, he comes, to call The nations to his bar,

And raise to glory all

Who meet for glory are:
Make ready for your full reward,
Go forth with joy to meet your Lord.

Go meet him in the sky,

Ye

Your everlasting Friend:

Your Head to glorify,
With all his saints ascend:

pure in heart, obtain the grace,

To see without a veil his face!

Ye that have here receiv'd
The unction from above;
And in his Spirit liv'd,
Obedient to his love

Shall soon the saints receive; kwa Wa
Above yon angel powers,

In glorious joy to live:

Far from a world of grief and sin,

With God eternally shut in.

1 YES, there's a better world on high,
Hope on, thou pious breast;

Faint not, thou traveller to the sky,
Thy weary feet shall rest.

2 Anguish may rend each vital part;
Good man! thy frame is frail :
But God shall be thy strength of heart,
When its own strength shall fail.

8 Through death, that vale of awful shade,
Thy feet shall surely go;

Yet there, even there, walk undismay'd,
'Tis thy last scene of woe.

4 Farewell, till that great morning rise,
The frame I hold so dear :

Till he who lives for ever dies,
Farewell to every tear.

5 Jesus! we pour this ardent
O take us all to thee:

prayer

Where'er thou art, (we ask not where,)
O there 'tis heaven to be.'

NOR eye

has seen, nor ear has heard, Nor sense, nor reason known, What joys the Father has prepar'd

For those that love the Son.

2 But the good Spirit of the Lord.
Reveals a heaven to come;
The beams of glory in his word
Allure and guide us home.

3 Pure are the joys above the sky,
And all the region peace;
No wanton lips, nor envious eye,
Can see or taste the bliss.

4 Those holy gates for ever bar
Pollution, sin, and shame :
None shall obtain admittance there
But followers of the Lamb.

5 He keeps the Father's book of life,
There all their names are found;
The hypocrite in vain shall strive
To tread the heavenly ground.

And bow before his throne;

Their warbling harps and sacred songs
Adore the Holy One.

IFT your eyes of faith, and see
Saints and angels join'd in one;

What a countless company

Stand before yon dazzling throne !
Each before his Saviour stands,

All in milk-white robes array'd; bsn ol
Palms they carry in their hands,
Crowns of glory on their head.

Cry aloud in heavenly lays :
Glory doth to God belong; y mu
God, the glorious Saviour, praise:
All salvation from him came ;-
Him who reigns enthron'd on high;

3 Angel powers the throne surround,
Next the saints in glory they ;
Rapt with the transporting sound,
They their silent homage pay:
Prostrate on their face, before
God and his Messiah fall;
Then in hymns of praise adore,
Shout the Lamb that died for all!

4 Be it so, they all reply;

Him let all our orders praise :-
Him that did for sinners die,
Saviour of the favour'd race!
Render we our God his right,
Glory, wisdom, thanks, and power;
Honour, majesty, and might;
Praise him, praise him evermore!

1 WHO are these array'd in white,

Brighter than the noon-day sun?

Foremost of the sons of light;

Nearest the eternal throne!

These are they that bore the cross,
Nobly for their Master stood;
Sufferers in his righteous cause ;
Followers of the dying God.
