C.M. 1 FATHER, I well may praise Thy name And in glad words aloud proclaim 2 I see Thy light, Thy world's wide scope, All things that give me life and hope 3 This living soul, which I call mine, 4 So I would fill a higher part, 5 This be my action, henceforth now, And then when strength is failing, Thou 6 And through the grace of Him who willed With truth my spirit shall be filled, 318. 1 A Life-Experience. All our fulness is in Thee! 2 List'ning, we Thy voice may hear; 3 Life will sweet and holy be,- 4 But a wild and noisy life- 5 And the tumult spreadeth wide; 6 And our work is feebly done, With a faithless, weary heart: 7s. 7 And our loved ones pass away; 8 Then we turn to Thee, O Lord,— 9 But, Thou speakest words of love :- Ne'er shall change, and ne'er remove. 10 Only trust me and obey; All your loss shall be your gain,- INDEX.
