Since thou a pitying ear didst give, And heard'st me when I pray'd : And never doubt thy aid. My soul encompass'd round, On ev'ry side I found. And did for succour flee; « The soul that trusts in thee !" How good thou art ! how large thy grace! How ready to forgive ! And by thy love I love. With anxious thoughts distrest, To ease, and joy, and rest. My feet from falling free, O Lord ! I live to thee. Hymn 60. C. M. My rising soulsurveys, In wonder, love, and praise?
